  1. any word how de-lisle played ? earlier today, Monga was a sub for eng u19 (got about 30 mins) in their 3-3 draw with Spain Page played first 65 mins in an u18 win v Morocco
  2. Better off trying a different hub if you’ve got a vpn …..
  3. Indeed he was brushed off too easily surprised he wasn’t pulled earlier when subs were made early days but bit disappointed - both with the system he’s playing in and his performance as a whole
  4. Anything promoted by Martyn Lewis isn’t what I’d consider requiring ‘professional advice’ ! im speaking about stuff/schemes that aren’t well known about. Of course your IFA is going to push isa and pension because they’re the basic investment tool for the vast majority. and most importantly, there are limits on what can be invested into them each year
  5. Square double pivot isn’t going to suit him dictating the tempo - will mean he is protected a bit more though Looks like a tough gig
  6. Big physical test for him helpfully he’s up to it
  7. You sound like Brendan 😄
  8. An ISA is a basic govt approved (and encouraged) tax efficient savings tool. I get your point in where is the line to be drawn. I think it’s common sense. Anything that requires professional advice being off limits is the starting point.
  9. Clearly he doesn’t have the skill set of Monga but his stats speak for themselves. he’s at an age where he has a lot of work to do to reach his potential. He may not have it within himself to do that. As Rama says, he may end up a mcateer at best, but he also has the potential to become considerably better than that. the bits I’ve seen of him don’t scream top quality like some others do and have in the past. Maybe he’s not pushing on atm because he’d rather be elsewhere ??
  10. You think?
  11. If you’re in public office then you shouldn’t be avoiding paying taxes (which is legal). That should be part of the deal. if that means we have to pay those people a bit more then so be it. it probably also means that we wouldn’t have wealthy people as public servants. for the rest of us that’s what nearly all of us would do. Just because you have a few bob, doesn’t mean you don’t want to find ways around paying more tax. And that applies even more to those at the lower end. Although the amounts they save mean that there is no ‘industry’ created to assist them and the room for financial manoeuvre is limited in any case.
  12. Wrt to the new home sec, - she abstained in the PA proscription vote so how will she defend/justify the govt position when she clearly doesn’t agree with it ??
  13. Putting a fairly devout Muslim woman into the home office is really gonna upset Gary and Dean from Harlow
  14. I have loads of time on my hands I considered becoming a magistrate but then I thought about the tax I hadn’t paid over the years ( nothing excessive but creative accounting on occasions and the odd little white lie) and decided I simply couldn’t sit in judgement on others. this is one of the basic points I think
  15. Wonder if all candidates have to be approved by the NEC ??
  16. Given his age, I don’t blame him one bit
  17. Shame she waited for the report before resigning she knew that she hadn’t acted on the advice she received and that the report would state that people would have had more respect if she’d done this at the beginning of the week - that she’d made an error of judgment and she could defend that given her position will she also resign as deputy leader ? If so, can those who have had the whip removed stand for the position ???
  18. Reckon he’d prefer to have a chance of winning an international tournament with England
  19. Isn’t that a charter to commit whatever crimes you want to if you think your asylum claim is unlikely to succeed ??
  20. Surely that can only happen if he will serve some custodial time wherever he’s deported to ?? otherwise where is the justice for those who have been abused?
  21. Certainly possible might even see the Reubens selling their Newcastle shares ……….
  22. But who will they blame now ? joe Lewis I suppose need to find a buyer maybe they have and this is the first stage ????
  23. I wonder what else the member for Liverpool Riverside is ignorant of ….. ( mind you if she gets her education on foreign affairs from social media then I’m not surprised)
  24. Can’t argue with that
  25. I think things changed between those coaches taylor probably bought the players back then but under Rodgers it was much more sophisticated yes he probably suggested a few but it would mostly be those identified by recruitment as a coach, he was way ahead of many we had over the decades yes it went sour because ultimately it was all about him and we couldn’t afford to indulge him
