We have to submit our management accounts to the league early next year. If they show a problem then we can’t point to potential June sales to put things right. Not allowed in this regard. So if we really do need to sell in this accounting period, we’d undoubtedly come under league sanctions before seasons end.

The way the modern game is played is all about getting your players 1 v 1 in advanced positions. We should be making hay with fats and Monga in the regard because opposition can’t double up on both sides and keep a solid defensive structure in the middle of the pitch (assuming we are inverting one of the full backs to force overloads in the middle). playing Monga as a ten will expose him to much less opportunity to get 1 v 1. The central areas of the pitch are much easier to double up. Whilst he’s strong for his age, he may well struggle to cope with the physicality in that area aswell. The wide areas are usually less physical. I’m not dismissing it because we’ve seen how his quick feet and short turning circle enables him to get away from defenders. But at his age I think he’s better placed out wide. -
Nor me but the answer is no as clubs wouldn’t be happy with their players doing it. when it’s happened before there’s always been smoke with the fire - but as also said, doesn’t mean it follows through.

How is that clutching at straws? Do you know any other random young European players that follow the club in instagram ?? Clearly there’s something going on but whether that translates to a deal ????
-
Watch again he definitely did go up to monga as he ran back to the half way line but if the narrative is better that he didn’t then believe that
-
I thought the problem atm is with the fans who criticised him over last season ?? Not aware he has a problem with marti. He may have an issue with the club if they’ve blocked a move …..
-
Club is worth £200/250m Problem is that as you say, top would want well north of 300 which just won’t happen atm.

They’ll not be able to remember what it is they’re upset about

Al Jazeera quoted that Hams have agreed to witkoff deal 🙏 though we’ve been here before with these reports and it turns out that they won’t agree to certain parts of it. Word from Jeruslem is that the Isr cabinet will reject the deal they had approved some weeks ago. Politics has moved on since then. Hams rejection of the deal last month emboldened the nutters on the right. maybe this is what trump was on about with his tweet earlier today where he said a deal with hams isn’t possible and they need to be destroyed. He’s trying to get ahead of the media curve.

I think some of the players knew which is an ongoing problem at the club. You clearly know more than me re the muscle injury - travelling business class for an hour and a bit surely isn’t much of an issue ??? (That’s assuming they didn’t have a private jet).

If the money is right, everyone is for sale -

Unfortunately that seems to be the case for those responsible too …. -
I know it appears he didn’t get on with cooper but we’ve no evidence that he was unprofessional whilst cooper was in charge we know he fell out with rvn who is the third coach he’s had problems with ???
-
Comparing enzo’s time with RVN doesn’t stack up winks had a newborn whilst rvn was manager. None of know what the dynamics were of his domestic arrangements. The fact he stood by his decision and was ok to be frozen out as a consequence tells me that there was something more than football in play. There are too many possibilities to even try and list them.

That’s assuming a) thise bids were actually made b) that may have been pre RC expiry when we’d have simply said ‘RC is £30m’ I know a lot of you think that means we can ask for more but I’m afraid it doesn’t look like anyone thinks he’s worth that -

Maybe he has a relationship with BEK’s agent ?? -
Problem is that if thats the case then you juts know who will be leaving and who we’ll be left with

Agree they'll surely not go north of 25m and I think we may accept that (with a sell on clause ) -
14 seconds ??

Selling players for a decent profit each summer is the way to progress but that relies on buying good replacements ……… so we’re fooked (I’m also hoping that the mads sale was the one which gave us a base to reject lowball bids on other players )
-
Sacked by whom ?? Is there a fall back mechanism in the event that the person ‘elected’ to the position is incapable of carrying it out.
-
If he doesn’t take it then it probably gets worse cos trump will not continue to offer the support needed and we’ve seen that the Europeans aren’t capable of filing the void - both with weapons and intel. I think the sell to Ukraine will be that it isn’t the entirety all four oblasts and Putin will allow the west to have boots on the ground in Ukraine as part of a ‘nato protection deal’ - think ‘west Germany lite’ with its nato bases. (But way smaller). So not nato membership with its guaranteed protection but nato forces providing 24/7 assistance and defacto protection. If Putin can sell as a win with no nato membership then effective nato protection is good enough ???

Not sure how much of a financial mess they are - was merely pointing out that they tend to buy well -
