    We seem to stick at it when things aren't going our way- this morning's session being a prime example. Credit to the coaches and skipper for a complete change in mentality.

    52 points ahead of Kent & Lancashire, 47 ahead of Middlesex. That's a lot of ground to make up, even at this stage of the season.

    I was thinking the same... surely all permutations set out in advance, must be the following season if they do go ahead.

    Absolutely- our best player by a long way in the first half of that season (on the domestic front, at least). If memory serves, he got an injury and never quite picked up the same form after.

    ECB hammering yet another nail into the coffin. No doubt it will be 1 up, 2 down and we'll finish second. Inevitable.

    This is on a knife edge. What a pitch, by the way- something in it for the batsmen, seamers and spinners, play likely to go into day 4 but draw highly unlikely- red ball cricket at its best.

    Exactly. Think we might have a bit more joy if we change tactics and get after their spinners though- we allowed them to settle a bit.

    Done. Very few positive answers provided. When you itemise all aspects of the club like this, it really puts into perspective how much of a shit show we are.

    I don't disagree- but there are people saying he's got nothing left to offer on the back of him looking knackered being flogged for 90 mins every week in the PL.

    Don't get me started on the insistence on playing 1 striker, and modern football tactics in general. I'll ruin my weekend before it's even started.
