  1. Pound for pound (I.e. considering numbers, home and away), we've got the worst/least vocal support in the league. Possibly even the country.
  2. In the end it was... but that was the squad he assembled (which is why I gave him a bit more time than the onfield performances merited). The squad he inherited was threadbare, could barely string 3 passes together and needed a complete overhaul.
  3. Yep. Last season was the most I've enjoyed following us since long before covid. The premier league lost its appeal to me a long time ago. Sterile, corporate, played in the board rooms and VAR suites, not on the pitch. We might be shite but it will feel more like football again.
  4. *wasn't on 100k a week...
  5. He's the least of our worries at the back. Which says it all. We're an utter joke.
  6. Bloke is a ****ing cretin.
  7. There have been worse overall performances, but I can't remember us ever throwing in the towel so early before. Gutless bunch of *****.
  8. Rather be in chernobyl reactor 4 around the time it popped than coach 1 for an away day. The absolute pits.
  9. 5-0 Everton it is.
  10. That won't get you much further than Skeggy these days.
  11. Can't believe I actually want Liverpool to win the league. The other 2 alternatives are unimaginable.
  12. We're over half way through already.
  13. Unbelievable revisionism. We hadn't put in a remotely good 90 minute performance under Cooper, including pre-season. If we'd got what we deserved at Ipswich and Southampton we would have been right in the depths.
  14. True- no idea why they've decided to chuck 3 games on at half 12 every week. 'Utter woke nonsense' and that.
  15. I'm going to look on the bright side... the Championship is a far better league to follow football in. Less corporate and sanitised. Matchdays will be more enjoyable.
  16. I've given up- no point wasting money on new appointments and signings whilst it's such a mess behind the scenes. Every single thing the club has done in the last 6 months other than the Bilal signing has been a car crash.
  17. Appointing industry leaders in specific fields generates positive results... who'd have thought it? Not usually the club's style.
  18. Never heard of him. Know absolutely nothing about him. But this is the exact type of profile signing we should have been after in the summer instead of wasting money and bloating the wage structure.
  19. I'd recommend getting on the grass to everyone bothering with this. Vesty has the right idea.
  20. "Do we have anyone we could chuck in at right back and not cost us a goal every single game?"
  21. I'd imagine he gets his info from the club.... so it wouldn't surprise me if he believes that to be the case and we've ballsed it up somewhere.
