If we end up with a transfer embargo, Daka is our only other senior striker next season- we might need him to stick around and play a few minutes here and there. Be great to have around to mentor Evans when we start trying to phase him in too.

Judging by the responses to this thread, we're getting exactly what we deserve as a fanbase this season.

Pretty damning all round that the club has only increased in value by €30m, despite having a higher net spend than that and the players having moved up a division.

Think he will still be able to do a job for us next year. Don't think he will want it to end like that either, so he may accept a pay cut for one more year.

My first reaction too.

I don't doubt the genuineness of the statement- I still think he cares about the club. It's just completely tonedeaf. And if he fails to see the reasons behind the endless issues we face then unfortunately he's firmly part of the problem.

Literally everything you hear about the club is negative these days. How can a group of people get so much so wrong?

Agree about the home atmospheres, but I can't imagine any other club who sells out every away game makes as little noise as we do on a consistent basis. Man City aren't great but they're certainly never that bad when they come here.
