  1. I get the feeling that we may end up rueing wasting those last 10 overs.
  2. Would have thought they would be going for it a bit more by now.
  3. Plenty to come still. I'd imagine they will still be chasing 350+. Fair play to them if they do.
  4. Absolutely. Our transfer window was a disaster from a long-term perspective. And also from a short-term perspective.
  5. Ipswich are winning the championship next year.
  6. Think we will be intent on moving things on a bit quicker than that... less than 3 an over to get to that scenario (weather permitting)
  7. Ideally, stick 300 on the board and have 20 overs at them today.
  8. Looking forward to next season now. Keep Okoli in the team for the rest of the season, bring the academy lads through, hope we can keep hold of Bilal, shift as much deadwood as we can. We'll have a team we can get behind next year.
  9. Given him a couple of lives already.
  10. Then again, maybe not...
  11. Very handy and potentially crucial runs- suspect that it will be a long shift in the field today.
  12. So we're just going to ditch the club anthem then. Replace it with Uptown Funk and be done with it, fire us off into the oblivion of corporate modern football bollocks, wipe out any remaining embers of authenticity. Our fans really are the pits. **** the lot of you.
  13. It should be a big advantage for us this season. Tipped the game back in our favour in Cardiff and it's nudging us towards a big score here. We'll be hard to beat, just a question of whether we can take 20 wickets on batsman-friendly pitches.
  14. Derbyshire have been annoyingly impressive in the field here. Could be running away with this but haven't been able to find the gaps.
  15. I've got high hopes for him too. Seems to have found a good balance between control and aggression at the top of the order & has looked very good so far.
  16. That's as straightforward as wins get for Leicestershire. Great start to the season.
  17. Keep the faith... Rishi to come in at number 11 and hit the winning runs at 5 o'clock tomorrow.
  18. That's a bonus- probably the worst ball he's bowled all morning.
  19. Fingers crossed he kicks on again this year.
  20. We'll bat very deep and have a lot of decent bowling options- probably a genuine strike bowler short (again) but they're difficult/expensive to come by. I think we'll be difficult to beat and will end up top 4. Whether promotion is realistic, who knows. It's nice to not be the worst side on the county circuit though.
  21. Northeast gone first ball.
  22. Really useful innings from Wright. All of a sudden in a very dominant position again.
  23. Played brilliantly. Didn't look out to me either, but certainly wasn't worth the risk.
  24. Memory may be playing tricks, but wasn't Sutton very close to joining us as Heskey's replacement before following O'Neill to Celtic? Things could have been very different!
