  1. Table is looking pretty good- think it's going to take every result going against us and some freak margins of victory for us to not qualify.
  2. Looked like he connected with it pretty well- 9 times out of 10, that goes for 4. No harm done anyway, great win!
  3. Absolutely ridiculous grab to be fair, no right to keep hold of that.
  4. To be fair, Dyer went on to do very well with Burton in the Championship after Watford. Burns should still be excellent at this level.
  5. Might not be chasing under the lights at this rate!
  6. Get where you're coming from, but I'd imagine the contract situation was one of Nelson's first thoughts too.
  7. We really have had some disgusting luck with injuries.
  8. I believe so, but keep after the game in mind if you do- took us about an hour to get out of one estate after the league cup game a couple of years ago and there was hardly anyone there/roads were empty.
  9. There's no way that entire lower tier is only 3,100- we must have requested more already
  10. How many have we sold so far then? Around 4,000?
  11. This is what blows my mind with PSR. You can't just cut your losses on a poor signing by selling on the cheap, and potentially end up in a downward spiral. It completely counters what the rules are supposedly there to prevent.
  12. I'm guessing, seeing as all blocks are showing as unavailable rather than greyed out, that we could get pretty much the full stand if the demand is there?
  13. Probably need these 2 to stick together for ay least another 15 overs.
  14. A £1.5m transfer fee isn't necessarily a problem, provided that he's on sensible wages and we actually have the money to be paying that (we've just got to hope that the incoming fees have indeed balanced the books for this season I suppose). If it rises to £3m then we've been promoted and no longer looking into the financial abyss. From a purely footballing perspective, he seems a decent character and should be excellent at this level.
  15. That is absolutely staggering.
  16. Decent opening spell from Holland. Don't mind today's selection so much, we're batting down to 10 and looks relatively balanced
  17. This is the exact profile of player we should be signing. With our facilities and obsession with possession-based football, we should be at the top of all PL clubs' list for loan players who aren't quite ready for the top end of the Championship.
  18. Welsh International, lightweight, drifts in and out of games but regularly pops up to score important goals? Kingy regen. GERRIMIN.
  19. 'Yes back to back relegation's are not what we needed'
  20. Same applies back to 1992, and probably even further back to Everton's last league title.
  21. * of the modern (PL) era. It would probably extend back a few years further than that, but I can't be arsed to check.
  22. If Nelson won't sign a new deal, he'll have to be the one to go.
  23. Sometimes it just doesn't work out somewhere for a player. I think he's got the capability to go and thrive in a more positive environment- very much a confidence player. I'd be happy for him if he does well to be honest.
  24. We may have got Emery at the time, but we were a ticking time bomb under Top and Rudkin by that point. Our downfall was inevitable and there's no way we'd still be in Europe now.
