Lets hope you are right and he can stop him playing, Otherwise it's going to be a long afternoon.

Who's going to stop Saka running riot, Victor Kristiansen . I doubt it. And Saka is only one of a quality Arsenal team. While I agree upsets do happen, the team has to be all on the same page which I'm not sure ours is due to the manager.

We've got tostart picking up points from somewhere. I'm not convinced yet that Cooper knows how to win games. So we'll see how it goes.

He'll certainly bring something different to our Attack. Exactly what I'm not sure but it will be interesting to see how he does. -
Shush, Don't mention that word, You'll give Soumare a Nose Bleed. He's only allowed walking mode. If he had any go in him he's be decent.

We're definitely going for a Senior Citzens team at this rate.

One of the big problems for thePremier league and EFl in all of this is they are both different legal entities. I'm not sure how easily they can bridge that anomaly unless they both addopt the same rules there's always going to be problems. The FA could possibly introduce such rules but the Premier league burnt their bridges with the FA years ago.

Very elnightening and thanks as knowledge is always useful. As I said I can only speak of my situation and in that case which did go to Court and the whole document was deemed flawed because of some of the clauses within. Whereas in the Clubs situation, None of it has gone as far as the Courts. Which I doubt it will do now as usually in arbitration both sides agree to accept the ruling.

Neither am I a lawyer, but I have had a similar experience with rules being found wanting when challenged. And it my experience if any part of the rules are found wanting then the rules in block are found not enforceable in law. Which is pretty much what has been found in our favor. Now that doesn't mean the same rules can't be used again with the offending clauses changed, amended or added to by new clauses. Which, I think is what the Premier league will do for next season.
-
I would think so, As I think the rule states a rolling 3 year period which again let's us off the hook. It seems remarkable and nieve that they the Premier league completely failed to allow for Teams being relegated in the rules. A simple rule that said in the case of relegated teams the rule will be applied to the 3 previous years. Or a percentage of the 2 years are used instead of 3 years.
-
Yes correct, They completely failed to legislate for Clubs being relegated firstly, and Secondly they have no jurisdiction over another legal entity. The EPL. You cannot pick and choose pieces of the rules as they are written for enforcement. They have failed the legal challenge which means they all have to be rewritten. Now that may well mean you use a lot of the current rules with new further additions, but that becomes a completly new set of rules and the old one extinct.
-
We'll have to wait and see if the 2 clubs decide to take matters further. The rules cant just apply to one Club in law. They have to be the same for everbody. You can argue we got away with it on a technicality, but in law they have to be seen to work and it this case the rules were found wanting. Therefore not fit for the purpose intended. The other problem they have now is they cannot enforce rules over another leagal entity, namely the EPL.
-
Agreed 100 % But it now gets into legal technicaltites now, If the rules have been now been found not to be enforceable. That must apply to all clubs which is why they may well have an appeal for compnsation. Luckily neither were relegated so a financial compensation will solve the issue quickly. Here's another situation which may be contestable. Appeal Boards are independent of the Premier League and member clubs and are appointed by the independent Chair of the Premier League Judicial Panel. You cant be judge and jury in trying to protect your own interests.
-
The fact is now it's been legally challenged and found not fit for purpose. Both Everton and Forest may well have a Legal claim against the Premier league. It may be that because they weren't regulated they may may be liable. Where as they were trying to fine us for being a member for two years and a third year when we wern't in the Premier league. But the simple ruling is the rules were not fit for purpose. Which may mean all previous convictions scrapped and compensation paid to suffering Clubs.
-
I must confess after reading some of the Pl rules I was always confident the Club had a good chance of winning, Purely on legal ground which is exxactly what happened. Now we can concentrate on staying up. Don't rule out Compensation Claims by Everton and Forest now. Especially Everton who are financially broke.

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)

That's the best lineup I've seen so far with stringer back 4 and a solid 2 in front followed by a creative 3 behind Vardy, Which gives us a real chance to win the Game. Yes I really like it. -
I think he did start out as a CB. But it doesn'r matter. Swapping with Faes , Yes one possible calamity for another, At least NDiddi doesn't stop playing after a mistake.
