Yes, We should have sold Hamza in the Summer and brought in fresh talent. He's definitely not a long term solution. I would'nt be surprised to see Coady come into the team alongside Vesty for their experience. And even Ricardo in the midfield role behind Facundo on the right and providing Cover if needed as well as providing some attack threat.

The players have a lot to play for tomorrow. The cloud of Cooper is gone from them and they have a real chance to express themselves and impress Ruud. It's not going to be easy but any result from tomorrow will be a big bonus.

It might be time to give Hamza a run at RB if Ricardo isn't fit and rest JJ who has looked a little tired at times. Then again he could be very rusty having not played for a while.

I would'nt be sheding any tears over Cooper. He simply wasn't up to the job. He'll get a chance somewhere else with a wad of our cash in his pocket, While we've lost out on a whole season now.

Of cousre he's guilty of player trading. He signed the players he brought in who were mostly crapp. Giving out too generous Contracts is down to the Club. Contracts shouls always be incentive based. We've had trouble moving players on because they mainly haven't been good enough and secondly the Contracts have been too generous. Financial Management has nothing to do with Scouting, Though good Scouting is what can quickly improves the finances in Football Clubs. Maguire, Fofana Mahrez etc. That's why It's crucial to have the right people doing that job. They also have to work with the Manager to find the players he wants to fill positions in the Team. They can also just sign players to improve and sell on at a profit. Liverpool have been doing it for years. Chelsea also. We have the facilities in place now we should be using them more to maximise our return on Seagrave secondary to the first team. Brighton just copied what Pearson was doing but have perfected it even better. Why ? Simply because they have the right people in the right places within the Club Structure. Aside from the first team manager. So as when he goes nothing else changes. When Pearson left we allowed others to dismantle most of what he built, Which is why we're in the mess we're in today. I totally agree, What draws me to Ruud is he's not doing it for the money. That's a rare quality to find in someone who has already made a fortune, Yet still wants to test themselves at the Top of the Game. Holland has puched above it's weight for a long time. That's down to the players they produce and the Coaches who produce them. He could be a dream signing as Manager and the evidence supports that I'd say.

They are all a risk. Look at how much Utd and Chelsea have waisted on so called top Mangers. And yet Enzo has Chelsea sitting 3 presently. Another thing I've learned in life the older you get you lose some of the enthusiam for the job. Sven, Mourinho and others. What youger Manger tend to bring is enthusiam and committment while they're learning. like Arteta and others. It's always a gamble, but it has to be a well researched and record led gamble.

I totally agree, But it's a good place to start. Enzo is a great Coach and now proving a great Manager. Pearson an average Coach but a great Manager. Funnily most of the great Managers have come from modest backrounds. lower league careers or even no previous football career like some.

True, but he had about 40 new players to pick from and it was a late run that saved them. We know what happened here. He failed miserably.
