  1. He was a poor signing who hasn't proved good enough anywhere. I hope we get rid and get that Spanish lad on a free transfer in his place. Better player more experience and on a free. Whats not to like.
  2. Get this done today. We don't want to leave it late into tomorrow and have another 14 second fiasco.
  3. I'd prefer not to have Cassadei back given what he said, But if it has to be it has to be. 30 million for kdh and a few loans for a season. That way we get help. The Players get experience and Chelsea still own them. A win win all round.
  4. If he has to be sold I hope he goes to Chelsea as he deserves a good move given his loyal service to us. I hope we can also get a few of the Chelsea development players on loan for the year which would ease our financial problems. Really though I'd prefer to have him here next season. So lets see what happens.
  5. Surely it has to be Fatawu on the 1st. Unless John wants to keep us in suspense.
  6. I don't think we're getting the best from him. I'd move him to midfield where his natural agression could win us more Ball while replacing him with another strong CB behind him. Having said that if we get a decent offer for him with a profit I'd take it and we move on.
  7. The Key to success in any club starts with the Manager. That's why I've said many times on here spend the money on the right Manager and give yourself a real chance of success. The right Manager can find and sign the right players to do a job. Mahrez and Vardy Kante just 3 players we know so well who didn't cost the Earth and proved key to our success with others. They can inspire players to achive more, Lead players by making them feel 10 ft tall and invincible. Create the right working environment and ambiance around the Club. Keeping pressure off the players so their only concern is winning the next game. This is important in the modern game as there are so many distractions out there. I'd put Rashford in that catagory, Who felt rightly or wrongly he wasn't getting the support or love he needed at Utd. That's how small the margins can be between success and failure. I bet Southgate is regretting not bringing Rashford or Grealish to the Euros now, looking at how poor the left side of his team have performed. ( I don't think he's any good as a Manager. ) Management is a lonely place, The Book stops with you, But you have to follow your own beliefs knowing your never going to get everything right, Nobody does. I wish Cooper every success and I hope he delivers for us. What I do know is he will give it his very best efforts after his experience with Forest. He's an experienced Coach with great credentials, What's unkown is his ability to get the very best from the squad we have. He has his Forest experience to lean on. I also feel the Club will give him every support possible within the financial constraints placed on them. I'm quitely confident he has the know how to keep us in the Premiership for another season while we get the Club back on track.
  8. This is one of the issues in most Club access to live games. Hopefully the Ground expansion will help somewhat in this area. Though my gut feeling is it will just prolong the need for a bigger stadium because we're gathering more fans year on year. What I would like to see the Club do is provide a number of Tickets for what I'd call Country and oversea's Fans. Those living in further away from Leicester and Oversea's I think this would help include these Fans while also speading the word of our great Club further afield.
  9. Yes they could reach out more to Fans, But I think that's more a cultureal upbringing in Thailand, which I believe was a Dictatorship for a long time.st to not get into any of that The other problem is how far do they reach out. Talking is fine but when it comes to disagreement for any number of reasons, Some outside the remit of the Club. Sometimes it's best just to not get into any of that. Especially at a time when I'm sure there's so much more pressing issues like the Stadium expansion, New Season, Signings outgoings etc. All Managers will want the Fans onside, But look how Enzo divided Fans , Many didn't like his style of play or refusal to adapt at times. Personnally I thought he was the best Coach I've ever seen and I've no doubt he'll deliver at Chelsea over the next couple of seasons. Fans of all Clubs lost the right to dictate to their Clubs when they allowed the money people to take them over and run them as a business, In some cases pocketing huge sums from the Clubs to fund their own lifestyle. This is why regulation is very much needed to protect the future of Clubs and Football in the interest of local Communities. Thankfully we're very lucky in that our Owners have never to my knowledge taken money out of the Club. Instead putting mind blowing amounts of money to ordinary people to clear debts and move the Club forward . While also improving the Infrastruture for years to come. Look forward for a minute say 10 years. Seagrave will be paid for and all debts cleared. Look at the money we will have then to put towards signings which will likely keep us in the Top Six going forward. Yes there's a few issues with Fans, But as Clubs go I really think we have less to worry about and more to look forward too than most Clubs and Fans. I'm excited and looking forward to the new Manager what h'ell bring and the new season in the Premiership. Even though it's going to be challenging. Enjoy the New Season and the Football, Hopefully.
  10. Once it's anywhere but here I'm fine with it.
  11. While I totally agree with you my point was the if it did turn out to be a decisive game all the Uk Fans ST and Fans wouldn't want to miss it. So the logistics of moving 140k fans would be enormous. Not to mention the us fans who also would want to attend It just seems a daft and not very well taught out idea.
  12. What happens if the league decider comes down to the 39th game like Man city vs Arsenal decider a couple of years ago. Do they expect 140thousand Fans to fly to America for the game. The Government needs to step in and stop this crazy idea and protect our game.
  13. People so very conveniently willing to forget about the Accident. Legalaties from such an event can likely take between 2 to 5 years to unravel all the complexities. During that times Companies are usually just ticking over with Senior staff having to make decisions they wouldn't be otherwise called to make. Yes mistakes have been made, But if you think it's easy just look at Chelsea ! Billion wasted, Everton almost facing extinction. I see our mistakes more as an effort to support a Manager who after winning the Cup, May have thought he knew what he was doing. When clearly he didn't when it came to signing players, From which we are still suffering the afters. Then they brought in Enzo which proved they have learned and proved a masterstroke. He delivered exactly what was asked of him and yet some are still not happy. Of 24 Clubs trying to win the Championship we were the ones that came out on top. All the Club asks from Fans is to to support the Club. While they spend ever larger Amounts of their own money trying to help us compete at the top of the Game. As someone who remembers all the barren years through the 70.80.90,00 with half full stadium and little success I'm loving the last 10 years. Just relax, Let them continue to run the Club as they've done a brilliant job so Far. While we continue to support the team and wait for more success.
  14. I certainly would never buy another LG. I bought an LG that cost me 3.5k years ago, It was Top of the range at the time. It lasted 2.5 years and they wanted 1K to repair it. I scrapped it instead and bought a Blaupunkt TV which is still going. We use it in the Bedroom now. Bought another LG in 2020 thinking I was just unlucky. It's in for repair now as I write. The Screen turned Blue. The Engineer said it's a common fault with LGs.
  15. Theate certainly looks better than Kristensen looking at the stats. He could be a good signing given that he can play in a 3 or a 4. But we do need to sell players this week to help PSP. So Don't be surprised to see Nelson, Souter or Coady go this week.
  16. We could do as you say and loan him back. I'd love to see it happen as it would rightly piss the league off.
  17. Fatawu definitely, But I wouldn't call Kristiansen a better asset that Faes. At least Faes has played alongside Vesty all season and has won a league Medal.
  18. I'd say Legally the league has very little credibility, They've huffed and puffed about the Man city situation which led to us and others taking similar risks. In short they don't know what to do or how to handle it. This could run on in the Courts for years. Which is why I expect a compromise agreement will be reached on a undisclosed fine and maybe a points deduction. With a toughening of the Rules to follow going forward. It's a mess of their own making.
  19. So have these first 3 names come with Cooper. Tate, Alcock, Tivey. ? I wouldn't mind him getting Steven Reid. He's a very intelligent Man with a lot of football experience behind him. I think I read somewhere he went off and done a Physcology Degree after he finished playing Football. He'd be a very good addition to our backroom team.
  20. I agree, He least deserves a chance. He should be all the better for his Forest experience. I think he's a good Coach, It's wether he can get his idea's over to the players quickly and keep them onside. This is a big opportunity for him he either kicks on here or likely fades away to oblivion to some lower league Team. I'm delighted that we didn't go for the easy option of hiring someone with experience, Yes there's a risk hiring someone on the way up, but it's a risk worth taking I believe. Let's hope it's another fairytail story in our illustrious career. One thing for sure it's never dull around here.
  21. Lets see how pre season goes before writing him off. I got the impression there was a lot of interference by Owners etc at Forest. I'm sure he'll be given a free run here to do things his way like Enzo and Rogers. But I still question, Why give him a 3 year Contract if he'll be gone by Christmas if he doesn't hit the ground running. ? Are we going to sign lots of players like Forest or make do pretty much with a few additions. ? Are we going to sign Enzo's players, Coopers players or Rudkins players. ? He did eventually stabilise the team at Forest which is to his credit. So high stakes at play this season for the Club.
  22. He's clearly the cheapest option. I just hope it works out ok like the Ranieri appointment.
  23. I hope if it is Cooper he doesn't bring any of the Backroom Staff he had at Forest. What a disaster they were.
  24. My only fear with Potter is that we know he wants the England Job. What happens if Southgate quits after the Euros.
  25. Just give it to Vardy and King. Not likely to go at the first offer when they surprise everyone.
