  1. You sure? Didnt Monga once say his preferred position is in the middle?
  2. turning in circles over and over again just to get dispossessed Good thing Ricardo seems to be fit enough to start games now
  3. https://www.record.pt/internacional/paises/inglaterra/nottingham-forest/detalhe/nuno-espirito-santo-esta-de-saida-do-nottingham-forest?ref=HP_Ultimas Get Ten Hag in, or Mourinho - someone to really get on with the players. I for one look forward to the absolute shitshow
  4. Pit stops are a part of racing. Let's imagine this scenario at Abu Dhabi - Piastri leads and is in position to take the WDC, comes in to pit, the stop is slow resulting in Norris taking track position and the WDC lead. I don't for a single second think that Mclaren would ask Norris to let Oscar by for the WDC, not a chance. It's blatant favouritsm and a collossal cock up by the team. Norris wanted to go 2nd, it was his call to gamble on a red flag or a safety car, there wasn't any threat from Leclerc on Piastri and even if there was, why would Norris care. Also if one of the cars has a mechanical failure, that's a cock up by the team as well, is it not? Would the other driver then be required to put it in the wall out of solidarity and fairness?
  5. Its a shitshow. Norris specifically asked to be pitted 2nd himself with some bs justification "to protect Oscar from Leclerc" (why would Norris care if his WDC rival got overtaken, especially given Mclaren don't have to maximise points with their 400 point lead in the constructors). He wanted to gamble on a red flag or safety car (the latter was actually impossible cause Max had already covered the 14 seconds a SC pit stop would take). This is now the 3rd or 4th instance this season where Mclaren have pulled "team orders" to make it "fair" that have directly benefited Norris. If I was Piastri I would honestly not have complied today, Verstappen said he wouldn't have either had it been him. This is a 6 point swing that the team decided to let go in favour of Norris. What's next - retire the car if Lando crashes to make it fair?
  6. Yes please, 22g/a some of them incredibly clutch last season. If this is a loan especially, then I don't see any reason for not doing this. Offers some quality depth or potentially even more than Mavididi. Also helps with not overloading Monga or having to rely on Alves/ BDCR too much.
  7. A fvcking miracle
  8. World's gone mad.
  9. This one always amazes me. You do wonder if anyone could've known he'd turn out the way he did.
  10. Oh stop it. Everyone has their own challenges and it affects each one differently. This is some boomer esque mental health advice and borderline dangerous behaviour. "Oh you can't be going through a tough time right now because there are other people in the world who have it worse". I do hope you treat those around you better.
  11. I feel sorry for Mads, I genuinely do. Always was a professional, never downed tools. Now he's moved to a new city, a new club, with 1 (!) game, pre season at that, under his belt since April, plays two games and has a stinker in his 2nd game. Shortly after that, the club publically shames him by refreshing their interest in the bloke they were initially going to get over Hermansen. The man is about to be a father as well. I don't envy the pressure that must be on him right now.
  12. oh stop it with the revisionism He was great and we were all fawning over how he'd be a 40m+ sale to one of Europe's best This is borderline pathetic by our lot on here acting like he's some Danny Ward who we're lucky to be rid of.
  13. I wouldn't say Okoli had a shocker, he just completely needlessly played the ball to the opponent two or three times that game without any pressure on him. And every single one of those situations ended up with us getting turned over and conceding a corner or chances.
  14. Here we go again with the "oh look he's actually decent, why not keep him" after a single ****ing game. I've had it up to here with this ever repeating cycle, especially with Choudhury. In the cup it didn't even take him a 2nd game to undo all the good he had done. He's a bomb scare and just because he managed 90 minutes without one against a league one side for a change, doesn't mean he won't be back to his inconsistent self. Let's be real, the ONLY reason Hamza is still with us is because every single window where we'd have looked to move him on, we had other fires to put out first and address and when we didn't we just got relegated and couldn't afford letting him go. People like to point fingers at Vesty and Soumaré and say they embody everything that's wrong with the club. They're right, but Hamza is just as much a part of that.
