Did Saturday Parkrun a second slower than my PB the week before, finishing in 24:12. Frustrating! Ran 10K easy run Sunday morning to get over it, did it in 56 minutes at my 'easy pace' which is great, because 4 weeks ago my ;easy pace' probably would have got me round in about an hour. Good to see the fitness levels increasing!

I had 4000 followers on Twitter/X and the thought of starting again always filled me with dread, but so be it.

Had this turned into a bespoke wallpaper and did every wall in the house. Like it so much I had a carpet done to match.

I wouldn't taper too much for a strong 10k. I'd keep running as normal up to maybe 4/3 days before, get some good rest in those legs and concentrate on eating and hydrating. Morning before I'd probably have a bit of a shake out, run am easy pace 3-5k to wake the legs back up. As above though, everyone is different and reacts differently to rest etc.

You know your club has turned to shite when Union FS routinely outshine them by being personable and charitable. Good work as usual 👏

OK, so I know a lot of people will see the title of this thread and sigh, but, genuinely - is it time? We've seen the best of times as a club under the current ownership, which we can all appreciate, but the last few years have grown a general lethargy, seen the decline of club and club identity and coupled with the obvious growing disinterest from those at the top can we now rightly have a proper discussion about ownership - what we want going forward, how can things be rectified etc? It's all well and good having Cooper-out threads but we all know the real problem runs deeper than him, it's time to be honest about it without the 'we owe Top and Vichai everything' mentality that's persisted well beyond its use-by date. What do people currently expect from the club? What needs to change at board or ownership level? Is it genuinely time to sell up? Discuss.

It's only toxic on here though and maybe the travelling fans. The Home crowd is nowhere even close to wanting him gone yet.

This is exactly how I feel. For the first time ever, literally ever, this season sometimes I find myself only even half watching the games. I have zero emotional attachment to it at the moment. It's a horrible sensation. I come into this section of the forum on Matchdays basically to see what everyone thinks, other than that I spend most of my life now in General Chat. I could almost not give a shit about football in general at this point and I've never felt like that before. It's not just Cooper, it's the whole club. Feels utterly flat and devoid of soul and meaning right now.
