Relegation, League 1, financial implications
FoxinNotts replied to splinterdream's topic in Leicester City Forum
No idea mate. Not my game, you tell me?. Love to see it though. Pespi buy /sponsor the training ground Sponsor the shirt Good exposure during the rise back up the leagues, to where we belong etc. Pumping zillions into the club, re-name the stadium Pepsico Stadium etc etc. Fact is (I no longer live in Leicester) there appears to be a massive cloud over the whole city, in general. The whole place needs investment. (Re)Building up, cleaning up, literally. Local based big businesses should be approached, by the councils etc to formalize a Leicester development plan. Start backing the city. Back whatever ideas King power have with their stadium development, and surrounding area plans should be fast tracked. Do whatever it takes to get the whole city thriving again. There's absolutely no vision, no feel good factor anymore. The performance of Leicester City, mirrors the City as a whole. The situation need to bottom out and start rising again. This should be ground zero. -

I think a large company local company like PepsiCo should be approached. Love to see Walkers crisps on the shirt again. Thing along with their other brands like Pepsi and say Cheetos would look great on the shirts as well -
There's not a plan mate

Who gives a fvck

The only viable or realistic path to survival from this position, is two wins in the next two, and then hope and pray Pompey get no more than a point from their next three. It's possible, but highly unrealistic.

Teams in this league with 'nothing to play for' tend to get results. They play with more freedom. Players try things that they normally wouldn't, and pull stuff off that would normally not be done. It's been proven time and time again (it seems, in the Championship, especially) that teams 'on the beach' play better! We're basically screwed

Coulibaly is the one here that there should be some solace with. He should / could still play a part for us next season. The rest you just have to consign to the history books I'm afraid. Shite show of the highest proportions

Just have to try something different, ffs: Begovic Aluko Okoli Vestergaard Thomas James Skipp Winks Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi Stolarczyk Ricardo Nelson Lascelles Choudhury Aribo Monga Daka Ayew I'm not happy with Stolarczyk's, Lascelle's and Ricardo's performances over Easter. Drop them. Get a half out of James, if possible. Still don't think we've seen the best of Mukasa - He's meant to be a great 'false 9' - give it a go, for a half?! Bring on Daka and then Ayew to give them something to think about, in the second half. Oh, Mavididi off for Monga, as always!

Leicester 2-1 Swansea Pompey 1-2 Leicester Leicester 1-1 Hull Leicester 0-1 Millwall Blackburn 1-2 Leicester not sure where this would leave us, it depends on Portsmouths game in hand, I guess. Everyone saying 'it's still in our hands' is wrong (until Portsmouth loose their game in hand)

Anything said anywhere as to how Ramsey and James are? Likely to be involved for Sheff Wed? -
Mate, we had to win today to make the difference. We're down

Yeah, we had to win that. We're down. Don't know why I should give a fvck. No one else seems to -

No, it's not, but we are a strange weird generally un passionate bunch. Very meek -

Let's hope this thread has aged well come 5 o'clock -
Even more infuriating is that he'll start Ayew, as Daka is still out of the country

Hamza playing well but his side are currently tailing 1-0 ......"Hamza wins back posession and floats in a delightful cross into the penalty area. It finds Saad, whose first time shot clatters against the post. The best chance of the night so far."
-
Yep. I'd go with that. Rowett won't though
-
Hope you are right. But who?
-
With Ayew playing tonight and Daka playing on Wednesday ( !!! ) guess who's going to start up top for us on Friday! Ffs 🤦🏻♂️

He is indeed sat on the bench. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻
