D J Barry has articulated what I was getting at (see above) much better than i could I was just relating to the registering of numbers for the 'first team squad'. Having 28 senior pros is fine. The youngsters who will suffer. But still room for the good ones: Monga and Nelson. I don't see the problem to be honest

I hear this a lot. But, surely, take away the youngsters, which are trying to break into the squad, and we've got a squad of about 24 to 25 (and that includes Monga and Nelson, the more established young uns). perfectly manageable with room for one more I don't really buy this line

Yeah, sell, for me. I like the guy, but he's had a great run with us. Last season he seemed to be making mistake after mistake, bless him. He had his best games at left back Imo. His biggest floor was constantly getting caught under the ball from deep whipped crosses, regardless of which side he played. Cant fault his attitude and work ethic tho. Top man, but time to cash in.

Choudhury's played his best stuff, in the last two seasons as an inverted right back. Just like Ricardo. With their injury records, they need to share that role this season.

Good point, well made. We really are pathetic as a club aren't we! I just find it all so incredulous. This football transfer stuff really isn't that difficult. Its not real business.
