I'd like to see McAteer tried in the 8 role, when fully fit (I assume he is now, but there's fit, and there's fit and we're gonna give you 60+ mins in a whole new position fit)

I almost fancied Enzo to try him as an 8 today, but that would be a risk in more ways than 1 he'll definitely get some minutes i'm sure.

if we'd have employed smith a few games earlier we don't go down. why we had tweedle dee and tweedle dumb in charge for a couple of games i do not know was Smith great, no.

I was also of the same view as you, in that I thought we'd be mid table this season, and if nothing else I certainly expected a slow start ! shows what I know

he had some mistakes in him even in his prime (I remember him 'juggling' the ball over his own line in the 90s against us ) but, he could also make some top quality saves, was a good shotstopper

I'm not trying to be a smart arse, and I was well disappointed with KDH at the start of the season, but... he is making probably the most high risk 'plays' in our setup now there's times he'll screw stuff up in the final third but gives us so much in terms of energy/tempo etc as well as some good passes at the sharp end and getting into the box now (clearly an Enzo instruction as has been said) He's a big part of why we are functioning well as a team at the moment
