  1. Imagine having him as a team mate. Looking for some kind of movement ahead of you knowing he's going to do everything in his power to kill it.
  2. We've got an actual footballer in the side
  3. Improved, but still frustrating. Ayew is vile. Genuinely a disgrace to watch.
  4. I'd sooner get stabbed than shot.
  5. Me and my pals had a top weekend in Eindhoven. We stopped at Ghent on the way and Genk coming back. FC Eindhoven 3-2 Almere City Last minute screamer won it, felt like non league level despite it being 2nd tier and Almere being in the top division last season. Fell in love with the place tbf, just everything you want from a match day and so pure. I haven't celebrated a Leicester goal like I did their winner and I'd only been there 2 hours. Genk 0-3 Standard Liege I think Genk looked leggy after winning in Zagreb in the week and never got going. Both sets of support amazing. Genk halted the game with pyro and fireworks at the start of the second half and Liege didn't stop all game. I love visiting Belgium and Netherlands, just so easy to get to, yet so different for all the right reasons. Looking forward to planning another.
  6. Sounds a great experience. I've seen the clips of fans in Belgrade wafting the flames in the away end with smashed up seats. Absolute carnage
  7. We pay Vietes, our 3rd choice goalkeeper and someone the majority of our own fans wouldn't even recognise walking down the street, 3x the amount Coventry pay their 1st choice goalkeeper.. That's before you bring in our clean sheet record.
  8. If we get bad owners we can try and get them out too? You don't sit around not trying to make any positive change because it could get worse. KP are running us that badly, we could get 'poor' owners and it would still be an upgrade.
  9. Absolutely loved the guy with us. We really were spoilt with characters and heroes all within a short space of time.
  10. As we were at the point of "we just need a manager", I can't have too many complaints. He seems a nice guy, who I hope can motivate the team. I'm just convinced the rot has set in too much and we're still relying on others being worse than us, rather than what he comes in and does being the difference.
  11. I meant in the football league and who'd be our L1 relegation rivals..
  12. If Northampton stay up, we'll be battling it out with them for worst club in the East Midlands.
  13. That is a surprise seeing as they send emails asking for feedback on each standard matchday.
  14. I think we probably just have very different opinions on what makes a matchday fun. It's an urban area, for a team from the city. The fan zones are what needs improving, we don't need picnic areas that take us even further from the working mans game.
  15. Fair, but I do feel it's a factor in a lot of areas. Particularly where I grew up, people don't take as much pride.
  16. Don't want to be negative, but taking pride in your property is something that is definitely on the decline. Obviously not helped with rentals.
  17. Sterling's new Feyenoord team mates having to travel 85 miles for training as he doesn't have his work permit finalised. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce948p5gk3no
  18. I wasn't a fan of the one they did in Loughborough with Izzet, Cottee and Elliot. The raffle I get, but surely they can just do some kind of online auction prior and people collect what they've won at the event.
  19. Took a bit of a hiding at Rennes, which is the only real trouble I've had surprisingly. We left to barriers that all the other City fans were being ushered down so we could get back to the car quicker, obviously not thinking about the ultras section still drinking outside their end post game. The fact none of us look French and I was carrying a giant England flag probably didn't help Could've been much, much worse.
  20. I guess purely for being an England World Cup winner. Barnsley 0-1 Leicester This will be a featured match on Saturday's Score - 1430 BST on BBCi and bbc.co.uk/score Neil Austin's 49th-minute own-goal handed Leicester victory but Barnsley celebrated Championship safety after Ipswich's late equaliser against Leeds. Barnsley-born defender Austin attempted to clear Matty Fryatt's lob off the line but succeeded only in heading the ball into his own net. Austin's unfortunate intervention was enough to settle a tense contest. Sean Newton almost made it 2-0 but in the end both sides were happy after the news came through from Leeds.
