Giving a new manager this group to work with is just nasty... nobody deserves that.. Clean house, get rid of those who cant play & those that don't want to play. Marti doesn't appear to be very clever but he's trying to fix a leaky roof using paper mache.

I have to disagree!!! I don't think we have one of the best squads in the league. We don't have a centre forward ( striker )... our left back & right back are both struggling but for different reasons .. our mid-field is decent & our wingers are are iffy .. Fatuwa can be good but Mavidi is poor.

These players have been playing football since they were six years old & really shouldn't need a pep rally to get prepared for a game.!! The players themselves have to accept responsibility for their lack of concentration & mental weakness. Marti needs to bench players such as Ayew who don't show up for a game. At least if we play a youngster we know we'll get 100% effort. I still maintain that the team is a mid-table squad but not trying is unforgivable!!

Playing Devils Advocate here but in truth the staff have not been payed late until the December 31st.

Top fed us some bullshit a while ago about change at our club but nothing has changed. We are headed towards a transfer window not knowing if the Manager will be backed or if our points deduction will be 2 or 22. We have managed to piss off the clubs employees & Rudkin is still steering the ship with his eyes closed. Firing the manager & letting Top & his bum buddy choose the next one makes zero sense.

Marti is not a very good coach but in truth this is not a very good team. Until there is an actual plan in place changing coaches is a waste of time. Hire some back room staff that know what they are doing & then hire a coach.

His recruitment reflects on the club & what we've become. Signing players whose best before date has long expired tells the direction we are headed in. The club under Rudkin has zero imagination & zero ambition ... Forget about firing Marti as long as Rudkin is calling the shots !!

That would be typical Top logic.... The club is at it lowest value since we won league & Top tries to sell. His best bet would be to hire some competent football people & remove himself & Rudkin from the scene. By the time Top sells, Rudkin will have us in League One with a valuation of 50 quid.

Im aware of what was being said but some people think we have a decent team & Marti just needs to get it right. I'm not in that group !!!

I'm not defending Marti in any way at all but his choice of players is dismal !!! When Ayew is first choice there is a problem. Luke Thomas is just awful & Mavididi is inconsistent at best. Marti is struggling but I fear most managers that we can attract wont be much better. This situation has been coming for a long time & until we have knowledgable people running our club it will only get worse !!

The lad would be crazy to join us on a permanent if he can get out of it ... This club is going nowhere & he deserves better !!

It would be financially disastrous to sell the Club while we are a mid table Championship club.. King Power would have to be in very very serious trouble !!

The Cooper experience was all very strange indeed !! He was an unpopular hire to start with & then proceeded to make some very strange selection choices. The football was awful with him in charge & replacing him with RVN was a brutal decision . It only goes to show that Top & his bum buddy don't have Scooby.

When you are best buddies with the owner it really doesn't matter.

Hopefully his agent is spreading the word about what an underrated talent he is.

Let's be honest.. Anything we can get for him in the winter window coupled with his wages off the books will be a good deal for us !!!

The Winter window is historically difficult with prices inflated due to the desperation of the buyers. I'm not sure we kept the receipt for Carranza but we need at least one forward who can make things difficult for defenders. If Antonio is fit & apparently he's played some games for W Hams U21s as well as Jamaica in the Summer then assuming the price is right it's probably not a bad move.

Did we not send people to watch him play before signing him or maybe even watch a viddy. I really don't understand how the system works !!

Hopefully it wasn't a year long contract. I don't trust Rudkin not to f**k it up.

He is a good keeper in my opinion especially considering his age but he does suffer from brain farts when playing out. I realize Marti wants him to play out but to blame that atrocious pass on anyone other than the keeper is laughable. Marti and/or the goalkeeping coach need to work on his timing for when & when not to make the pass.

I'm not sure which players you are referring. Ayew or BDR will very rarely last 90 minutes due to the age factor & I expect we would see the same thing with Antonio if he signs.

The coaching staff will have a decent take on his fitness level after a few days at Seagrave.. If he's in decent shape he can help this team !!

I feel for the man.... gets all of the blame but none of the credit !
