The man has been given a bowl of jelly and been asked to build a bridge. The team is terrible !!! Replacing him before we hire a director of football makes no sense.. The club is a mess & firing the manager is like painting the living room when the basement is leaking.

It really has hurt us,

He has inherited a pretty lacklustre team that has barely been improved in three seasons. He made statements about playing a style that he is not able to back up due to either his lack of ability or lack of quality players. I see lots of people here say that he has a top squad that should be challenging for an automatic but I disagree.

It has been a trend for quite a while now... I honestly believe that the team lacks confidence in itself & as the second half progresses you can see the team become more concerned with losing rather than thinking about winning.

Regardless of being charged I expect the club to be capable of balancing their books & managing their finances. LCFC's bookkeeping does not fill me with confidence !!!

I don't see Marti being fired any time soon as we are still in the running for a playoff spot & I cant see Top wanting to make a move before he has new people in place. Marti really hasn't been helped with the club bringing in three loans in the Summer & one is injured & one doesn't look like he will make it. I personally feel the current squad is over rated by our fan base & while Marti is underwhelming, so is the squad.

I could live with a six point deduction & feel that a playoff spot would still be possible if the club made a couple of decent transfers in the Winter window. It's painfully obvious that we need goal scorers if we are going to win any games.

For me the whole thing is just plain embarrassing. Knowing what the rules are & still screwing up is a reflection of how poorly our club is run.

This is not the same team that Maresca had . It's missing a few players & the remaining one are 2 years older & 2 years slower. This team is older, slower & lacks motivation & a bunch of them are just playing their contracts out. .All teams need to be refreshed every season & this one is stale & tired. Only one of the three loans is having any impact & the injuries are starting to mount up. I don't think that Marti is a great manager by any stretch but this team will struggle for top six regardless of who's in charge. Lack of sensible recruitment has impacted the club & it will be an uphill battle for whoever replace Rudkin.

We've been in trouble with FFP now for 3-4 years so that leads me to believe we need someone who knows how to balance the books. I thought that was Susans field of expertise but that was apparently not the case. If she can get our spending back in order then its a good deal.

Money people don't need to know football .. We need someone who understands money.

Who does he swap them out for ?? Let's be honest .. we are stuck with Ayew & Daka cause no one else wants them .. maybe we can return Carranza & get another loan in !! I think he has to give some academy players a chance but though he talks about it he seems reluctant to do it.

Leicester fans have a tendency to overate the quality of the players. If any of them were half decent other clubs would be interested in them !!! No-one wanted Faes or Soumare in the Summer even though they were cheap. Vestergaard is slower than a glacier & even though he can pass, he always has a mistake in him. Ayew & BDR are well past their best before date & we don't have any strikers. With a couple of additions Top six is the best we can hope for.

I don't think the squad is close to being one of the strongest in the league. We don't have any strikers who can score & very few other players who can score either. Our defence is slow & error prone & we have very little imagination in midfield. Marti is very definitely limited but Pep would struggle to get a tune out of this lot. Poor recruitment has slowly dragged this team down to where it is now.

I do follow your logic & do agree that an "exceptional" manager would help but I personally feel that the club is a bigger mess than it's ever been in the Top & Vichai era. I'm not sure that Farke is that manager & I really don't see any others who would be available. Unless we are replacing Marti with a top top manager then I honestly don't see point of re-arranging the deck chairs

Farke or any other manager isn't the fix Leicester need . The bus is broken !!! Replacing the driver wont help !!!
