We've gone a little way to restoring our reputation this season but it's very much a work in progress on our mental strength as a club. It's been shattered over recent years and we were seeing signs of that this season. Our big game record, whilst very suspect has also become a bit more solid in the last few months. Of the teams we've played in the top 7 since February, we've won 3, drew 1, lost 1.

Few others like Raikhy not there though. I think Alves is very much part of Enzo's plans but it just hasn't happened for him yet due to fitness. Only a matter of time for Braybrooke. Pre-season is his time, Enzo will absolutely love him if he remains our manager. -
Who do you want for next season in the PL

Yes he's done well. -
I suspect what might happen is, one particular club decides he is their priority and know others will be keen but don't want to try and play games in their pursuit and we work well to get a decent deal all round, very much like what happened with Maddison.

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

Been looking at potential young talents from the J League, where plenty of European sides have had lots of success with. Kuryu Matsuki - FC Tokyo - 20 years old - central midfield Ryotaro Araki - on loan at FC Tokyo - 22 years old - attacking midfielder 5 goals in 6 games this season Satoshi Tanaka - Shonan Bellmare - 21 years old - defensive midfielder -

Yeah even with a year left on his deal it's going to be north of £15m as we had to chuff them up £17m for Soumare in similar circumstances. -

I think Vestergaard and Vardy will be offered new deals but the rest will be leaving. I also think we might need to sell more than just KDH, so possibly Faes/Daka/Justin might be off as well. Based on that I think we need LCB RCB Inverted full back 4 CM's (3 as 8's and one traditionally more defensive - could be Braybrooke) LW RW 1 striker minimum -

It's the biggest frustration of this season that both of them weren't able to be fit for it, they'd have both made 10-20 appearances IMO -
What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?

Jamie Vardy impacting games - there is not and never will be a better sight to see. No VAR Don't mind the current TV scheduling for the league but understand that's going too change massively. -

He's top League One standard at the very least for his development but I totally agree. However, very much depends on our circumstances this summer. If we are hampered significantly in making the required signings then whether he's ready for the PL or not, he is going to have to be. Braybrooke I'm convinced is already top end Championship standard but I could be being a little presumptuous. -
I was apoplectic that Hutchinson left Arsenal U21 only to go to Chelsea U21s when he was very much ready for 1st team football. Possibly not at the top end of the Prem but most definitely lower Prem or any Championship side. I have been raving about him ever since he ripped us apart in an academy game a few years ago. He was exactly the sort of player we needed under Rodgers and would have been an excellent alternative to Fatawu, i.e instead of Yunus. I'd love us to offer Chelsea £10m + add ons for him and see if they'd be tempted.

It's been a welcome break from the Premier League. I'll be honest and say I've watched less than 10 live PL games in their entirety all season and am very much not missing it. Although the reasons for not missing it are two fold, firstly our demise that was completely avoidable and secondly VAR and the non stop bull shit you have to listen to when immersed in the Prem. There's something very honest and authentic about The Championship, despite alleged inferior officiating. I've little problem with the mistakes that are more than made up by on the spot decisions and getting on with it. I'm not crazy about us being in the Prem for the sake of it, it's mire a necessity due to the predicament we are in and because we'd been there for a decade and there's an expectation. Give me a young and unproven but progressive squad with vast potential on sensible wages any day of the week. If that's not quite good enough for the PL then don't care but thr model is that we give ourselves the opportunity to compete without killing ourselves in the process.

Wonder if Angel Gomes at Lille is a realistic targets. Contract up next summer and would revel in a dual 8 system like Enzo's. -

Good pal of mine and @Collymore is a big Blackpool fan. He has been incredible there this season. Always thought he'd end up at us when Rodgers was here. -

Still think there's a disconnect with some signings and the style our managers play though. -
But you get my point, they're crap. They've got 50 points in 45 games, with a striker who's scored about 30 goals this season. Not having it. I want us to take them apart and secure the title.
-
Equally they'll be under huge pressure knowing they may need a result. I'm sick of utter dog shit fighting for their lives and seemingly being able to navigate the game better against us who were fighting from promotion with a vastly superior squad.

Alves and Braybrooke are massive talents. Just hope they get chances with us next season or a full season on loan in the Championship, both are ready. -

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Ric Flair replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah, would be completely unmanageable or to reliably forecast. -
If we get promotion secured tonight or Monday then I reckon he's a chance of the bench vs Blackburn but then again we'd surely want to give Albrighton a playing send off too so will depend on who's available or who he'd then drop out the squad.
