Astonishing Silko is ahead of him. Didn't score a single goal on loan in League One last season whilst Alves output at Cardiff in the Championship wasn't too bad at all.

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
Ric Flair replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
Wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Turkey after the window closes and we bring in a free transfer the same week. -
If it's a toss up with barely playing here (should be an impact player most games from our bench either LW, RW or #10) or getting 30+ games on loan at a good League One team then get him on loan.
-
Some Leicester fans got told this was happening by Palace's manager last weekend.

Bar Zeneli, he is my number one pick for the type of all action midfielder we need. Scores and creates a steady amount too.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

That will be negotiated up to £30m with add ons and a sell on and it's done. -
Which is exactly why it's the most likely signing. It's just typical of us.

Quite possibly, it's a good thing to try and get a better defensive structure. If we do stick with more workmanlike full backs (like Enzo tended to deploy) then the central midfield has to have far more creativity and breaking the lines. Right now that mix is so turgid.

That would be the single biggest scandal this club has ever had and there's been quite the portfolio.

Don't see what's in it for a buying club to do a loan with obligation where the loan fee is the same or more than the amortised obligation fee over the contract of the player. -
It's been known for a good while, I suspect those within our club for many a year. Generational talent if the stars align on him, unreal player.

Will likely go today/tomorrow

All it takes is one decent performance and these " miles off it " comments will disappear. It's the same as the bombardment of posts slating Stolarczyk away at Preston saying he isn't good enough, and we're stupid to think he's an able replacement for Mads. Only to then have a blinder vs Charlton and the praise is heaped upon once again. You're basically only as good as your last game.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21

Biggest injustice is Hutchinson not yet in the U21s -
He really isn't

See i'd argue the complete opposite. No coincidence Mavididi and Fatawu are struggling to dominate games bar the odd moment of individual brilliance and thats because Thomas and Hamza do not overlap or underlap and create overloads to free up the space for our wingers to wreak damage.

He's an example of where a player needs time to settle but by being picked week in, week out. Whilst he was older, this is what Puel did with Chilwell. The irony is, most debates with fans on the lack of opportunities for academy players is because they evidently " aren't ready " otherwise they'd be in the team, but the reality is you often need a manager to have the bravery and trust in a young player that gives them the environment to improve and succeed. Page is no more ready right now than Jake Evans or Bade Aluko but Marti see's something in him and the lack of other options that he's prioritising his fast track development. He's got a great future in the game and let's hope Philpott and Branston get that pro deal signed with us.

Such an easy £30m profit player
-
Winks out and Saletros in wouldn't be a bad bit of business. There's room in this midfield as well for Zeneli who'd run this gaff.
-
Why we aren't going all out for Zeneli is beyond me.

When had Cooper worked with BDCR before?
-
His best season was the year Cifuentes left in 2023. I like this potential move.

Got a feeling this one happens
