Love Big Dan.. he can be an absolute bombscare and needs 10 seconds to make a decision to pass when he's on the ball, but the man is so passionate and selfless on the pitch - you can tell he really cares and loves the club. He wears his heart on his sleeve and I love that.

King Nigel III would be the greatest final episode of any trilogy ever.. and I include Godfather, Star Wars and Exorcist III in that bold statement. However, many managers will see the City job as a poisoned chalice now.. especially after Brendan's comments in the media about funding, communication etc. I fear Nigel would see it this way, even if, in the remotest of all possible worlds, he were to be offered a third bite of Top's cherry. I would love it to be the Once and Future Nige but as this won't happen I think a young, talented manager who will bring guile and passion is what's needed. ...BUT..should those big white you-know-whats grace the hallowed turf for one last call to battle, it would be a dream come true

Negligence. Contracts, managers, league position.. The lack of urgency or action.. like a universal apathy that infected the club from Top to bottom. From outside it appears there is a Fairytale curse of a malaise that has come to rest on the club. If I was captain of a sinking ship, it'd be "all hands on deck!", not: "oh let's have another platter of fish fingers and see how things turn out next week".. Unbelievably negligent.

Had to take a break to work on some things but just finished up - great episode, lots of funny moments and gallows humour about Rudkin, Top, the Championship etc. cheered me up! Looking forward to Tete bossing the 2 tier

This is going to be horrible.. unmissable.. getting emotional flashbacks to the last relegation and being roundly mocked by some Spurs tit who I happened to work with at the time.. of course a few years later those tables turned in the most delicious fashion.

Glad of the point and I understand the tactics but it made me feel really sad to see us playing like that.. Just a universe away from the confident, skillful team we used to be. So many 'if only' moments this season.. so many slip ups, VAR decisions etc.. just the rub of the green that would see a ball on the other side of the post or a pass bounce up at the right moment for a shot seemed to elude us in crucial moments.. and then last night it seems we cashed in all our lucky moments after about 500 post-hitting shots from Newcastle and I thought we might just shithouse it.. but no. Everton need the win and I can't see them not getting it.. I hope Mystic Pipes is right and we beat WHam to survive on GD+.. my heart hopes but my mind is already in the barrel of crabs that we call the Championship..
