I think unfortunately he has become a victim of his surroundings and as much as we can shout until we are blue in the face about Rudkin, Top and the squad that took us down, some of the buck has to sit with us as fans. It amazes me how quick fans jump on a player or selection of players when the going gets tough and they are not performing - it's going great when the kid is knocking in a hat-trick against Southampton, or setting up Vardy in his first game in the Prem, or scoring from inside his half, but we are quick to forget all the good. I think people forget Fatawu only turned 22 in March, has recovered from an ACL injury which could have easily claimed his career, he has pushed himself since he was a kid to get to where he is and people jumping on his back every 5 seconds, how is that going to help him? One of the biggest problems is we have spent the last 12 years depending on one man getting us out of the sh*t, now he's gone, i think some fans earmarked Fatawu to be the next hero and it hasn't gone to plan. He will leave Leicester and I am sure have an impact wherever he goes, as long as he is coached properly, something he only had when working under Maresca.

At 29 and with lower division experience, could be a good mix with our younger squad - ultimately though, given who we are, clubs will try and drive a hard bargain for any players under contract.

I think as fans we have to take into consideration the way he is being coached, what is being asked of him in situations, who he is looking to learn from, there are so many variables to consider as well as the possibility of having his head turned.
