  1. 25 league games without a clean sheet? Shocking.
  2. Need to change your profile pic mate
  3. Hell fire Ricardo
  4. WM 'the people's open' is one of my least favoutite stops on the PGA tour. They might get 200k through the gates but most are just there to get pissed rather than watch the golf. Although the organisers have been told to tone it down a bit now, you can see why the likes of Rory, Rose and Tommy give it a swirve. Even CBS' commentator Johnson Wagner admitted to stopping playing there back in his day because the crowd ruined it for him.
  5. May 1991. We beat Oxford last game of the season with a Tony James winner to survive in the second tier and send West Brom down 35 years later, May 2026. We beat Blackburn last game of the season with a Jordan James winner to survive in the second tier and send West Brom down. It is written.
  6. Opened the thread, drawn immediately to this post and the sad face. Didn't read the post above or below. Thought Jamie Vardy had died
  7. "The facilities are great"
  8. Yep, the gap is ridiculous. Scottie could pretty much take the next 2 years off and still be world no. 1.
  9. LIV finally get OWGR points but only for top 10 finishers. Points awarded similar to DPWorld tour and less than half of a PGA tour event. So many LIV golfers have tumbled down the world rankings that it'll be almost impossible for them to catch up again. Can't see this satisfying the likes of Bryson/Rahm etc. and if/when they don't extend their LIV contracts, hopefully the whole thing will collapse.
  10. Islam Salami (I've genuinely heard Lecicester fans call him this)
  11. I reckon if Susan was still around she'd have organised something. I think she's a bigger miss than some realise.
  12. All down to the Recovery RV
  13. Ah the good old days when you could legally carry guns
  14. Feeling very embarrassed reading the start of this thread with all my "life is great without alcohol" posts. It was, for just over 8 years, and I never gave booze a second thought. It wasn't part of my life anymore, I didn't miss it, and I was quite content being Teetotal. And then just over a year ago my Mum died. It hit me hard and I spent the immediate two weeks afterwards staying with my Dad to help him get through it. He's always been a regular drinker and the night after Mum died we sat talking and I asked him for a shot of his malt whiskey which I thoroughly enjoyed. Over the next 2 weeks we went through his various bottles of malt every evening and talked about memories of Mum while planning the funeral. Then I went home and I didn't have any whiskey, so I bought some. And then when that bottle ran out, I bought another one. And then we moved house and I was flat out doing a renovation so started having a few beers every evening, followed by some whiskey. So here I am a year on and realising I haven't had a dry day since December '24. I had three bottles of Glenmorangie 15 The Lasanta malt whiskey for Christmas and I'm just about to finish the third bottle. And then I'll probably buy some more. No idea why I'm posting this apart from admitting to myself that despite my 8 year hiatus, I'm still an alchoholic and probably always will be.
  15. Looking like a really close finish. The world team are much more competetive this time.
  16. It's the 'every minute matters' campaign to raise awareness about learning CPR
  17. As soon as the new PGA CEO Brian Rolapp heard rumblings that Koepka wanted out of LIV, he came up with a 'one off' offer to 'major winners on LIV from the last 4 years' a pathway back to the PGA tour that required a decision by end of January. This 'pathway' was therefore basically only available to Koepka, Rahm, DeChambeau and Cam Smith. Koepka accepted and the other three declined. Rumour has it Rolapp made it 'major wins in the last 4 years' to deliberately exclude Mickleson who won the 2021 PGA. Although Koepka is back straight away, he needs to play himself into the signature events and FedEx cup rankings from scratch. He also forefits all the various player impact programme bonuses. Reed can return to the PGA tour on a 'past champions' excemption but only 12 months after his last LIV event so can't make his PGA return until August. In the meantime, he'll play the DPWorld tour and probably finish the season top 10 and gain his full PGA card for next season that way. It's all bollocks.
  18. Absolute warrior
  19. Come on Novak
  20. Patrick Reed quits LIV after not renewing his contract. No big surprise after his recent comments but another significant loss for the Saudi's which is always good to see. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/articles/c07xye18ndyo
  21. All the best people are
  22. I didn't really understand any of that waffle apart from his first sentance "I have a big job to do in Thailand" Part timer. No clue what's going on day to day. Fvck off.
  23. I've watched Free Solo 3 or 4 times I think. It's the most nerve wracking, edge of your seat, bite your nails, shit your pants, documentary I've ever seen. I'm still convinced he'll fall to his death each time I see it. Just compelling viewing.
