  1. If he's fit enough to be on the bench each week then surely he's fit enough to start?
  2. Yeah, good shout. The first job we did was to cut down a huge tree from the front lawn that's roots were damaging the drains. Got a local guy out to grind the stump (but we still had a huge job getting rid of all the roots). In hindsight should have got him back to do the smaller trees in the back garden as it took forever.
  3. The garage is another story. Knocked the bricks down between two singles, put a RSJ up and converted into a double with rollover door. Haven’t washed my car in about 9 months but once this garden is done, hopefully back to detailing!
  4. Yeah, invested in a reciprocating saw amongst other tools and literally chipped away at everything when I had time. The stumps of the main trees took three of us to put in the skip, they were that heavy.
  5. Not agent orange, but a shit load of Round Up! The original estate agent pictures don't show how badly overgrown and out of control everything was (the house was empty for over a year before we moved in) The ivy and brambles were strangling everything and the trellis was broken with the weight so we decided to start again from scratch. Neither me or the wife are gardeners so we just want something low maintenance. I don't mind mowing but that's my limit
  6. Haha, yeah it's our renovation project. Not sure about the incredible hulk, my back is absolutely fvcked We've probably filled three skips full of old shrubs, roots, stumps, rocks, slabs, bricks, rubble, weeds, old trellis/gates, posts, and various shite. It's been a bitch digging it all out and a bigger bitch trying to level it (and now doing the same out the front) Nearly ready to put down seed and fertilizer. Thought about turfing the whole lot but ran out of money!
  7. And what it looks like today
  8. Completely gutting the garden and starting again (much to my old man’s disgust) This is how we inherited it last summer, overgrown, covered in weeds, ivy and bramble.
  9. LIGHT THE CANDLE! (Then shove it up your arse you gobby cvnts)
  10. The robot is human after all. Matty Fitz smelling blood.
  11. Richard Burton
  12. What a beautiful round from Ludvig. His swing is just gorgeous and when he's putting well, he's very dangerous.
  13. It's just a bit of harmless fun really. Rob Mac understands a bit about the game tbf but Ryan clearly knows fvck all
  14. Got a nasty feeling that Rory might WD from the Players just before his tee time or during his round. I reckon his back issue is worse than he's letting on.
  15. Yep, we absolutely took over Selhurst Park that night. Brilliant scenes at fulltime, great memories.
  16. Thanks Suzie. I'm pretty chill about it as I've had lots of other health issues for many years but when I showed my wife the appointment she freaked out. I guess the NHS should maybe be a bit more mindful of the language used on their messages. The last thing the world needs is more people on defcon 9 unnecessarily!
  17. I've had a small cyst/lump on the side of my neck for about a year now. It won't pop like a spot and it's been starting to aggrivate and annoy me more so I sent a photo of it to my GP and booked an appointment (4 week wait) The GP had a look and said "It's probably benign but best you see the Dermatology department at the local hospital" Just got the appointment through on the app from the Hospital saying "Urgent Suspected Cancer Referral" for Monday. I love the NHS but lesser mortals might shit themselves a bit recieving that.
  18. In other news, Spurs 3-0 down after 20 mins. Shouldn't laugh but
  19. Standard Hamza yellow
  20. Spurs losing. What a night (so far)
