  1. There was another Dad and his son stood next to me and my lad. This other kid must have only been about 8 years old and he stood on his seat the entire game. He knew the words to every chant and sung his little heart out the entire game. Great effort from the youngster and he put a few of those around him to shame!
  2. Went today for the first time in a couple of years and stood in SK1 about 15 rows behind the UFS lot. Overall I thought the atmosphere was pretty decent tbf considering it was a mis match and Rotherham didn't come to play. Must admit I couldn't hear any singing coming from any other part of the ground though and certainly couldn't hear Rotherham, but that's probably more to do with my poor hearing than anything else Fair play to UFS but we do seem very reliant on that drum of theirs to get things going. I was hoping for a few more of the old skool chants but I guess times have changed. My lad really enjoyed it though and it's more about him having a good time than me these days. P.S. Singing "We can see you sneaking out" on 85 mins to our own fans felt weird. Glad we stayed to see Enzo and the players come over and show their appreciation at the end.
  3. Lob-sided Christmas trees. I can't stand them.
  4. I can't see you having much success but the annoying thing is, I can almost guarantee there will be 4 empty seats in the ground tomorrow (maybe not 4 together, but probably 2 x 2)
  5. Making me sound like the bad guy here
  6. I'd love to know what other option I've got apart from giving in? My lad is desperate to go see a game and has been bugging me for months to take him so yeah, I gave in. I hate the process and it stinks that you have to buy a membership but I want him to go, enjoy the experience in SK1, and become hooked like I was at his age.
  7. Bless him Many congrats mate. Life as you know it will never be the same again...
  8. I can relate to a lot of what you've said here. The nearest clubs to us are probably MKDons, Wycombe, and Luton but I can't stomach the thought of my lad growing up being a fan of one of those clubs. He's Leicester whether he likes it or not (even if that means me going against all my principles and forking out for memberships just so I can take him)
  9. Thanks mate. But does the fact guest tickets are available four days after members suggests it’s highly unlikely you’ll be sitting together? Kinda defeats the object in that case
  10. Can members get a guest ticket for all games? Would be great to take my old man with me and my lad one day (without him having to pay for membership too)
  11. Depressing ain’t it. Wish things were as simple now as when my Dad used to take me and it cost about £4 on the door to stand in pen 3
  12. Couldn't agree more. Feel totally shafted but I can't see another option.
  13. It is, but what else can you do?
  14. I just bought a membership today for me and my lad purely so I can take him to the Rotherham game. My understanding is it's just one ticket per membership number and no guest ticket option (that only applies to ST holder I think). Cost me £32 and him £16 to join then £36 for my ticket and £18 for his (plus £1.50 booking fee) So £103.50 to see Rotherham at home in the second tier. We'd better fvckin win.
  15. I went to Filbo week in week out during the 90's but have lived down south for over 20 years now and watch every game on a stream instead these days.. My lad is now 14 and keen to go regularly but I've only managed to take him to a couple of games over the last few years (mainly thorough favours of the good folk on here) I've finally bit the bullet and forked out for memberships for both of us and managed to get us two tickets in SK1 for Saturday. Aggrieves me that the club have us over a barrel like this but can't see any other choice unfortunately.
  16. Can you please tell me how I access this resale platform? I've just bought memberships for me and my 14 year old lad and we've had our supporter numbers e-mailed. When I go to the main website and click on the Rotherham fixture the the 'coming soon' box is greyed out so I can't see if any tickets are available. I assume it's now sold out? Thanks Edit: Tried again just now and managed to get two tickets together in SK1. Result

  18. Boils my piss to see empty seats and then read a post like this. The club should let you in for a minimal fee as a thankyou for your loyalty over all the years.
  19. Hover your mouse cursor over their username until it's underlined then it'll bring up a window and the 'ignore' button is bottom right
