It's so weird reading about Paula Vennells. In the early 90's I was a retail store manager an she was one of our senior directors. One time she came and did a visit to my store in Coventry and commented that we had the same colour hair I hadn't heard her name mentioned for 30 years and now she crops up on this thread. Most bizarre.

I always go for premium tyres personally. I'm sure there's not much difference between them all but I'd rather pay an extra £20-30 per corner for a decent brand. Just replaced four on the wife's Volvo V40 and went for Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2's at £85 each. I'm some will say that's rip off but seeing as they're the only thing between you and the road, I'd rather go for a tried and trusted brand that will also last a decent time.
