  1. Our 15th with a mate who made a hole in one yesterday. Greens are good but never seen the fairways this brown.
  2. Ripping out old loft insulation with my 77 year old man for the last two days in this renovation house we've recently bought. Absolutely sweating our nuts off. Nearly 100 sq meters of the manky stuff with old carpets and all sorts stuck down the edges. The joys of finding dead mice, birds nests, wasp nests, and general shite - disgusting. Now sweeping everything clean before laying the new stuff tomorrow. I really want to give the loft a total vacuum clean everywhere as its so dusty but is that a bit OTT do you think?

    Depression

I know you don't want to hear this Deb, but the whole point of counselling is to enable you to fully break before building you back together piece by piece. It's a painful and hard but they have a process which is tried and tested (in my case Gestalt therapy) and it initially might take you to places you don't want to go. I resisted my first few sessions until I broke and then it took a few more sessions after that to mend me (I'm still not fully mended btw but I'm in a much better place now). I'd encourage you to give it a go and trust the process. It might just help x
  4. Bless him. What a guy.
  5. Fvck off!
  6. Three shot lead one to play. Jean Van der Velde territory this.
  7. I can barely watch and it’s not even a major. I reckon the whole golfing world apart from Cantlay want Tommy to win this.
  8. They’ve had a lot of rain tbf and with the amount of pros moaning about mud balls lately the tour took the easy option. Don’t like the way it’s a club length relief in the US though. Should be six inches/scorecard length like it is in Europe
  9. They’ve been playing lift clean and place all week within a clubs length
  10. I love how Tommy keeps looking for the positives every time he misses out but if he fvcks it up from here I fear it would break him.

    Depression

Have you had any grief counselling Deb? I appreciate you're in Spain but I know people in the U.K. who do it over VC and are excellent. Happy to put you in contact with them if you ever wanted an initial consultation.
  12. Even if Penge wins at the Belfry, I can’t see him getting a pick this time. Assuming Rasmus qualifies, I think Luke will pick the same team as Rome. Penge would be great at Bethpage though, he hits it a fvcking mile.
  13. ..while American businessmen snap up Van Goghs for the price of a hospital wing
  14. That's mad BTW, Tommy looking good (again) Would be poetic justice if after all those near misses he ends up walking away with the big one.
  15. It's a great insight into their lives. Can't help but like good old all American boy Kirk Cousins. Absolutely living the dream. And Jared Goff's wife, wow. These boy earn outrageous money but I can't think of another sport where there's so much pressure, expectation, and reliance on one position. The amount of plays they have to memorize is staggering. You'll love it.
  16. Yep, loved it. Probably preferred it to season 1 because I found Jared Goff much more interesting than Marcus Mariota. Joe Burrow intrigued me this time around (although can't say I like the guy much)
  17. That'll be wicked mate. Have a great time and good luck to your son
  18. Looked like pretty decent crowds there today. How about Marco Penge on the 299yd par 4 10th with an iron off the tee to 6 feet. What a shot (6:52)

    The gym

Harsh. I did leg day today and quite enjoyed it, but it's the day after I can't stand.
  20. My 16 year old white middle class son refers to his mates as 'mandem'. Twat.
  21. When you give your teenage kids a bollocking and they respond with "It's not that deep" Fvck you. While you're living in my house, I'll decide what's deep or not.
  22. He's fine mate, busy selling cars and playing golf. Think he's just having a bit of a break from this mad house
  23. What a chip Shame Bob shat his pants today. +3 ain't gonna get it done with Scottie breathing down your neck.
  24. Ridiculous that he's only 20. What an exciting prospect.
  25. Sticking with Danny Ward could end up costing Parkinson his job if he's not careful
