  1. The 'deal' was supposed to be over the line more than a year ago and it's getting boring now. Just let PIP buy in and get on with it. And I see the US Open have just decided to give spots to the highest ranked LIV players so the back tracking begins. LIV players must be pissing themselves laughing. Took the money but will now be invited back into the fold.
  2. I think it’s a great move by LIV first and foremost. They know from Bryson's success on YouTube that it’s the way forward so they’ve bagged the OG in Rick Shiels knowing it’ll get them more eyeballs. From Ricks POV, I think the fact he wasn’t invited to the PGA Tour Creator Classic last year really pissed him off. All the other main YouTubers got asked apart from him so I reckon he’s stuck to fingers up and fvcked of to partner with LIV. From the sound of it, his content won’t change that much apart from all his collaborations being with LIV players. He gets to travel the world and get paid a shit load for doing it. Fair play to him. He's lost about 15k subscribers who think he’s taken the blood money but that’s Fvck all when he’s got neatly 3m. I watch LIV events so I’m pretty clued up on that tour anyway.
  3. Indeed. Yet despite the razzamatazz, it seemed so much more exciting back then.
  4. Reminds me of taking a radio into school on a Monday so we could all listen to the FA Cup 3rd round draw on Radio 2
  5. Which is mad really when you consider he's got over 40 wins worldwide, 27 on the PGA tour, 3 Fed Ex championships, 6 European orders of merit, 4 majors and 7 ryder cup appearances. I think the fact he's also had 14 top 5's in majors (including 4 runner up) leaves you with that feeling of what could have been. He should have at least 6 major wins really with his talent. Rory is definitely my favorite player of the last 15 years. And the fact he's pretty much always been in the worlds top 10 during that time shows his incredible consistency. And a net worth of $300m ain't bad going either
  6. I mainly use Booking.com for hotels because I also use it for work and get loyalty discounts through them. For flights I tend to check on Skyscanner first then go to the cheapest/most suitable option.
  7. I never once dismissed our success as luck - you keep misquoting me. And I didn't say it'll never be any different - misquoting me again. I said I think it'll take another 20 years until we're challenging again at the top of the Premier League.
  8. I said "see you all back at the top of English football in about another 20 years or so" That doesn't mean I think we'll be out of the PL for 20 years, it means I don't think we'll back at the top of English football (i.e. top 6 PL) for another 20 years. Have you got any evidence to suggest otherwise? And it's got FA to do with this transfer window. We're skint and results/form say we're getting relegated. And unless we get lucky and find another Enzo to bring us straight back up, I think we'll be in the championship for a while. Nothing melodramatic about any of that. Just realism.
  9. Who says I'm crying woe is me? If anything, I'm grateful we're not a Cov, Stoke, Derby, Portsmouth etc. We've had a great run, realized the dream, and now we're going back down - again. The joys of being a Leicester fan.
  10. Football goes in cycles. Lots of clubs have periods of success and shit over the years (and some never have any success at all) You can argue all day and night that we should have capitalized on the PL win and cemented ourselves regularly in the top 10 club, but Leicester have always been a yo-yo club in the 40+ years I've followed them. We're just an mid sized provincial East Midlands club whether we like it or not. We climbed Everest and completed football with the FA cup win so no one can take that away from us, but it looks like we're now set for another period in the doldrums - that's how it goes. Strap in for the next chapter of our rollercoaster ride and see you all back at the top of English football in about another 20 years or so.
  11. I really hope so. I think he's got a great chance this year. He's won four times at Quail Hollow where the PGA is being staged and he knows Portrush like the back of his hand for the Open. His recent US Open record is good and he's got every chance at Oakmont. And we all know he's come so close at the Masters before. He usually has a great season when he gets off to a hot start so I'd say his odds are excellent this year.
  12. Rory at his brilliant best to win easy at Pebble. Lowry 2nd and Rose 3rd to top off a great week for the Europeans. The 2025 season off to a great start.
  13. Pen 3 at Filbo was a huge part of my youth and I'd give my right nad to stand there and watch a game just one more time. The KP has never felt the same for me.
  14. Parents ‘coaching’ from the sidelines. STFU. It confuses the kids and you’re talking shit. Encouragement is fine but you ain’t no Pep. Bellends.
  15. Lasted 10 seconds I suppose
  16. Absolutely embarrassing to lose 16-0 not even a contest
  17. Trust me, I've searched high and low for this. Was in the DD with my old man. 28,000 packed in to Filbo under the lights and a game I'll never forget. Still got Bill Anderson's newspaper report in an old scrapbook but never seen the highlights
  18. The average age of that team look about 17
  19. And that's the reason why you never see a poor bookmaker
  20. Gats looking his age these days. Must be stressful coaching Wales atm Sounds like he's had a few personal tragedies to deal with over the last 12 moths too.
  21. And here me thinking that nostalgia ain’t what it used to be
  22. Luck of the Irish at the AT&T Pebble Beach pro am yesterday!
