The statement mentions atmosphere/matchday experience/spirit half a dozen times and all these initiatives/gimmicks to improve it. Bin all that BS and give us safe standing instead if you want to improve my experience.

I remember when 'pre match entertainment' was getting into pen 3 a bit early and starting a few chants when the players were warming up. You paid on the gate with no worries about tickets and didn't need any flags or clappers to generate an atmosphere. A cup of Bovril and a fag was enough at HT then back to the pub afterwards for a de-brief. It was all about the football on the pitch and the singing in the stands, that's' all that mattered. Now the game itself feels like a side show. Football has lost it's soul.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I just go for the football. Not interested in all this "smooth match day experience" stuff.

Rather than piss about with £4 and £6 for young uns just make the game 'kids for a quid' instead (or even U18's free with a paying adult). Wouldn't cost the club much at all and would increase the attendance.

Yeah, lesson learnt. In the excitement of a rare viewing, I should have checked in advance that they were proceedable buyers. Two hours getting the vac and duster out, hiding the wife's dirty knickers etc. in preparation, only to find out afterwards that they 'loved it' but haven't even listed their property yet.

Just don't understand why people would want to view houses when they haven't even listed theirs for sale yet. They're not ready to make an offer so I can't see the point. Seems a waste of everyone's time to me.
