  1. Skipp weak in the challenge and Thomas unable to block a cross Welcome to the Leicester defence Nelson
  2. Can Winks not play on the left side of defensive midfield - seeing Skipp and Thomas so close to each other is such a reminder of how poor the players we have are
  3. Just had a vision Luke Thomas beats his man and whips in an excellent cross and is met by the perfect timed forward run of Oliver Skipp getting into the penalty area and his precise header finds the corner of the net for our winner It's possible right?
  4. Hamza! or Bobby, Ayew playing the 10 instead of the left? Leaving James and Winks in the DMs
  5. 532 with wing backs? Fatawu at wing back or usual with an odd right back and ayew on the left?
  6. He was a free transfer so could be signed outside the transfer window even if he is not registered today, they could still register him tomorrow - so no paperwork issue (unless he failed to provide evidence of skill and failed to get a work permit, but I seriously doubt it)
  7. Interesting I remember a year where the seats next to me were empty until boxing day as His wife had brought them and only gave them to him and their son on Christmas Day Although that was at filbert street ... which was a long time ago - so not relevant, but I still find it funny
  8. Of course not as the great James Maddison once said "We will be fine"
  9. Anyway else seriously worried that we have fans arguing who is best Kristiansen or Thomas? (by who is best I mean who is worst - would either get in another Championship team?) The fact that this is our left back choice is a serious problem and the club chose to give one a 4 year contract and has been unable to get rid of the other. No matter which we pick they will both play a stinker every single time Many think Aluko is the magic answer - although considering he is a Right Back mainly, never played a professional league game and will have no support from the winger in front of him (one of which may be a 16 year old) I'm not so sure - although I doubt he could do any worse - I don't think it is best for his development
  10. Yes I agree that the Leicester fanbase has turned toxic But why don't you (aimed at Linda and not the poster on FT) ask the question as to why the fans have became toxic? Over the years the Leicester City support has been excellent through thick and thin But recent years it a repeated bunch of players not playing for the club An owner and board that appear to have turned their backs on the fans as soon as the going got tough and has completely gone absent. The reason for the lack of communication is simple - the board are not active in running the club they are busy elsewhere why the club falls apart The fans have to be careful not to alienate the few players that still are worthy of wearing the shirt - but we are only toxic because of the toxicity brought into the club by the owners mismanagement and players disdain
  11. Bloody hell you took him to his first game to watch us, what did he do to earn that? Did he not just deserve a few minutes on the naughty step?
  12. Currently 14/ 1 and with a possible points deduction...
  13. To be fair I don't But what makes you think he is capable of negotiating a sale of a football club?
  14. Just a thought - but Top doesn't have to sell the club He just needs to resign from the board, sack Rudkin and hire a person capable of running a football club He still turn up, sit in the posh seats, smile and pretend he is mates with professional footballers as long as he doesn't make a decision
  15. The worse signing is 100% SKIPP - because we knew exactly what we were getting He was not an unknown - we knew he was useless when we spent £20+ mil on Him Having this pathetic excuse of a footballer at our club is 100% the recruitment teams fault and was an awful and expensive signing by a club who couldn't afford it And if I class the worst signing as an error by the recruitment team then he is the worst If you saw Ward at Aberdeen or Huddersfield or even as a cup Goalkeeper for us in the 1st year - you would see potential and would not believe the liability he became. He is an example of a player who devolved under the coaching at our club. Daka had potential, he was brought in because he had pace and scored goals at a lower level and got into good positions- he was brought in to be the next Vardy - I don't blame the recruitment team for signing him - unfortunately not just has he not fulfilled his potential he is another player that has completed devolved by the coaching at this club and is now scared of his own shadow and spends the entire game questioning himself Both Ward and Daka need a sports physiologist, something we no longer appear to have and it is clear in the players Golding was not a signing -he was effectively a Chelsea discount on Dewsbury-Hall and away of circumventing PSR rules by Chelsea Soumare was a poor signing and has never fitted into any managers approach, but he was a consistent performer at Lille and showed more potential than Skipp ever did. We don't mention the 8 mil loan fee for Eduoard or 3 mil for a 3rd choice Right back when we only had funds/space for one player in a season we were struggling - surely a loan for an top academy player who could fit into the team would be more use Okoli was a poor signing - fell for 1 good season in a close knit team and Ayew/Carrenza are 2 strikers that showed they were not born goal scorers both brought in when we need a goal scorer - why? Although not much outlay, their wages and the decision to sign them is incredibly poor
  16. True, Top needs to take his share of accountability. But he only listed as steering the ship, the problem is that no one is actually steering the ship since his Dad died. We just float around aimlessly without a clue - the whole board need to change
  17. This is the biggest problem at the club. The players don't actually want to play and are happier not to be on the pitch We don't have anyone in the squad we can turn to Many say turn to the youngsters, but the rotten cores in the squad are too many and just throwing one or two youth players into this toxic cess pit will not be beneficial to their development. And replacing all the rotten cores and relying on the youth well it would be a whole team of kids in a real battlefield league
  18. The club have effectively frozen him out and this treatment of an academy player is shocking. No room in the squad No minutes in the U21s He has to leave for the benefit of his career We are meant to be nurturing a future player, instead we are ruining a promising career
  19. It’s not over! happy happy clappy clappy happy happy clap oh remember those League one days, that Monday night against Yeovil - were nearly there again NB - strange how autocorrect want to change clappy to crappy - AI knows Seriously I was always concerned about the 2nd half of seasons with Rodgers as we always faded and looked mentally poor, but could put it down to small squad, tiredness, long season and was glad to be up there. But the drop off in the season before we were relegated was shocking (similar to the Taylor season) and it looked like we were lost. He should have gone that summer, at the very latest after the dreadful start to the next season, but reacted way too late and the downfall of the club became inevitable
  20. £8mil loan fee for Eduaord doesn’t even make the list?
  21. When was the last time the majority stayed until the 85th minute?
  22. Wow what a list But it has to be Skipp - we knew he was sh*t before we signed him!
  23. Human Chain Around King Power Don't let any players or board members in!
  24. I was eluding to making changes to the starting 11 - which he does, but the squad is so poor it doesn't make a difference - My belief is no manager or tactics will make a difference Yes his subs and his insistence to keep taking JJ off - who has been our best player this season is not good and I don't recall him actually making a positive influence during the match - today his first changes were to bring back on the three players who have repeatedly underperformed and we became worse for it
