Doing London with a charity too. Planning on starting training in a couple of weeks but not nailed down the exact plan as yet. -
He’s wondering why those guitars are so small.

That’s the defence sorted. What about the rest?

Is there a less dynamic attacker than Ayew? It’s like having a potato up front. Don’t get me started on the midfield.

Found out on Thursday that I’ve been picked by Alzheimer’s Research UK to run the London Marathon next year. Doing it to honour my dad who passed away in January. Bricking it but excited too. Always feel awkward promoting things like this. But I don’t know if this is the right place to share my justgiving page? Just in case anyone fancies chucking a couple of quid towards a great charity. -
Not to mention the people having photos taken there and posing all smiles. As if they were stood in front of a landmark on holiday.

Hopefully they take out New Walk at the end. Last time I did it I'm pretty sure a woman walking with a pram overtook me. -

First run for 3 weeks, had to have some time off for various reasons. Always amazing how ropey it feels coming back. Legs are like lead. -
Looks a bit like a bloke I brought a used Kia Picanto off. Been nothing but trouble. I’ll reserve judgement after another 5000 miles.

I haven’t seen such a collective show of derision since my sisters on my 8th birthday when I chose to go to Snibston Discovery instead of watching Babe at the cinema.

Did the Derby half marathon on Sunday. Had been the race be been building up to, to go for a pb. Didn’t have a great last 3 weeks with a few niggles and general prep wasn’t great. The heat even at 9:15 start was unbearable. Honestly the worst I’ve ran in. Dripping with sweat by the second mile. Got in to a really negative headspace early and couldn’t reset. Wanted to stop halfway but just ground it out as best I could. Disappointed on the day but think I need a little time off then go again. -

I did similar a couple of years ago. Was playing 5-a-side once a week. Although I stopped about 4 weeks out just to minimise risks. I followed a Hal Higdon plan. Think it was Novice 1. Worked ok for me. It’s worth looking around as some plans use mileage and some use time on feet. most important thing for me is gradually increasing mileage. I followed the plan as close as possible and didn’t have a single issue. My current block I’ve been a bit loose with and tried to jump mileage to make up for lost time and I’ve got all sorts of niggles I’ve never had before Could just be getting old though! -
Walked past a caged football pitch the other morning, litter piled up all along the sides and corners. There are three empty bins 30 seconds away from the pitch.

Out at 6am, was already warm. Had a Chinese last night as well so wasn’t expecting the best. Close to PR at 5K (26:51) and 10K (56:06). Signed up for Manchester Marathon next year. -

Loved FNF. One of my greatest memories is seeing Frank Sinclair needlessly razz a clearance in to the Carling stand a mere 10 feet away from me. I watched in awe as the ball smashed another young lad in the face knocking his glasses flying. Frank didn’t give a shit. Glorious.
