I have a set of these. 3 in total. If I remember they were released in the Martin O'Neill era. Seeing Joachim and McAlister as club legends now really does make me laugh. As much as I hate seeing some of these players repeatedly represent Leicester City I'd also like to see them forced to play League 1 football. They contributed to us playing at this level. How Faas, Winks, Kristenson, Okoli etc can think League 1 is beneath them baffles me. However, I realise they are also going to bankrupt the club and I never want to see them in a Leicester shirt ever again. Therefore, anyone who offers money can take them.

Now Burnley have proved it's possible to claim against another club, Leicester, Leeds, Burnley, Forest, Everton etc should go after the Premier League for their inadequate attempts at applying inadequate rules.

I'm praying Russell has seen the light and changed his unwaivering attitude to play high risk football without a proper structure. He is nothing like Maresca. Maresca brought control and a risk/reward balance. Russell brings all the risk. More frustrating is the kind of players he will want are the ones we want to see the back of. Also Vestergaard has proven he can't play the high line Russell will want. And Winks... Surely, we can't afford him and he has to go.

If Martin is the alternative I'd rather keep Rowett

Sounds like we've gone for idealism over realism. Before appointments like Martin are made you have to consider- Do we have the players for this appointment? Will we be able to find players before August for the appointment? I've just ai searched Martin v Maresca style of play and it tells you exactly why this appointment is lunacy.

In league 1 we are going to need him. Teams will bully us to get a goal otherwise. Ideally we keep Souttar (and sell Okoli) and have a ball playing CB next to him. That said Okoli is 24. If he can't do it in league 1 he isn't going to make it. The whole thing is a mess. I really hope it isn't Martin and we appoint a realist rather than an idealist.

It really doesn't dispel the idea that certain clubs are treated differently to the rest of the league

Not when the charges were announced in 2023 and it still hasn't been resolved. I don't think it is silly to compare the speed of action at all. In fact I think the whole football world should be demanding an outcome to this issue as it has possibly affected several clubs.

England's problem has been a complete refusal to have a Plan B. We simply refused to play to Vardy's strengths. That said, I don't think he was World Class but probably towards the top of whatever titled category you'd have next. I'd put Elliot, Izzet, Lennon, Heskey, Fofana, Kaspa and Youri (at times) in this category too. Mahrez and Kante were World Class. They instantly improved any team and didn't require the team to change style etc to accommodate them. Cambiasso wasn't world class for us. He was a world class player that had lost a bit. Mancini probably falls into this category too.
