  1. I find the whole thing a bit embarrassing to be honest. Are there any other clubs in world football that try and manufacture a fan friendship for the benefit of the owner's brand? The 'Fearless' thing is remarkably embarrassing.
  2. I read your posts in Louis Theroux's voice every single time. I just can't help it.
  3. It especially bothers me how many of our fans left early once again. We've won only our second home league match of the season, what are you so desperate to get home to on a Sunday evening? I just don't get it.
  4. It's that the sole purpose is to get Leicester fans interested in a club just because they are owned by the same Thai duty free company. The thought of trying create a fan friendship to raise brand awareness just feels weird. For the record, I keep an eye on their results simply because I want to see Big Nige do well, but I'm not fussed about them beyond that.
  5. Can you not see why people feel a bit funny about it?
  6. To be fair, it gives you a great chance to meet new people and experience a different football culture. It's been a real eye-opener for me. I certainly wouldn't want to be part of a friendship with another English club. I have a bit of a soft spot for some English teams, but not enough to take a regular interest in them.
  7. This doesn't sit well with me, I'm not going to lie.
  8. Favourite Smiths song is This night has opened my eyes. Notable mentions to Half a person, Reel around the fountain, I know it's over, handsome devil, Rush and push and the land is ours. Basically, I love that band.
  9. What I find funny is that every team that sings that at us had lower average attendances in the championship than us. Middlesbrough, West Brom, Palace, Stoke, Watford, Hull etc.
  10. How dare we go to a football match and enjoy ourselves.
  11. Granted our average attendance in the premier league is greater than it was in the championship and league 1, but that applies to pretty much every football club.
  12. 'when 13,000 clingers-on are all gone' was a personal favourite. We were bottom of the premier league for four months in 14/15 and were still filling the ground.
  13. Well Spurs have been Champions of England twice. It's not as if the chant was directed at their players is it?
  14. The same SK4 that started 'Champions of England, you'll never sing that' and 'He's won more than you' against Tottenham, Derby, Burnley, West Brom etc. In that instance it's very understandable because it makes us ALL look like ignorant idiots.
  15. Ahh my bad, I forget about that.
  16. They're not bigger than Everton.
  17. Stoke haven't actually bought any players have they? That's mad.
  18. Need to get this one going
  19. This thread has been both depressing and really interesting at the same time. I always want Leicester City to succeed but on the other hand I really don't like this corporate, sanitised image the club is promoting. I understand that shameless advertising and even the odd completely meaningless hashtag has become part of the game in this country, but can we at least not celebrate our history and traditions at the same time? Go past the ground and there's no statue, no murals or any acknowledgement of significant moments in the club's history. Arsenal are a club that I associate with aspects of the modern game that I can't stand: high ticket prices, no atmosphere, twitter warriors, meltdowns after drawing with Stoke etc. but you go to their ground and you see statues, murals and reminders of significant in their history.
  20. Nummer fumf ist Wes Morgan
  21. They could be the surprise package this season. Don't get the re-signing of Ched Evans though.
  22. This. Seating areas at football grounds are very uncomfortable for people my size and I'm 5ft11/6ft. There are people that go to the games who are far taller than me.
