  1. Alvvays -Antisocialites was hands down my favourite record of the year. I love every song on it. I have to disagree with you on The National, though. Carin at the liquor store in particular is a beautiful song.
  2. That was clearly yellow and there was still some white on the kit. Plus if look at the last years there's more gold on the kit with each coming year.
  3. But there was almost always a bit of white on the kit, now there's no white but plenty of gold.
  4. At what point did he say anything about the owners?
  5. Liverpool didn't originally play in red, but I'm sure if there colours were to change now they wouldn't be happy about it.
  6. That was 133 years ago. For the vast majority of that time Leicester has been blue and white.
  7. We used to play in blue and white. There is no longer white on the home kit, I think that's the point he's getting at. I understand that we've had kits in the past that didn't have white as prominent secondary colour but that was only for the odd season.
  8. What's not embarrassing about 30,000 Jamie Vardy masks being spread out across the stadium. In fact it's downright creepy, especially seeing blokes in the mid-forties watching game through one.
  9. The Vardy masks bothered me because it was after Vardy got sent-off at Stoke and was done as some sort of protest/'justice for Jamie'. It just made it look like we'd thrown our toys out of the pram because we couldn't accept a debatable decision which went against. It was so embarrassing.
  10. The masks and jester hats were on the seats at games. Got no problem with them being sold in the club shop.
  11. I can't stand the image the club is trying to promote. The clappers, the change of colours, the #Fearless #BeFearless #ForeverFearless nonsense, the jester hats, the Vardy masks etc. I think deep down a lot of people feel the same way but are more laid back about it because the football is decent. I can understand it, but does there have to be the trade-off?
  12. To be fair mate I don't think anything has ever gotten lower than the Vardy masks.
  13. What I must admit is that I find it peculiar that Puel's Southampton were defensively sound but had real trouble scoring goals, yet we're leaking goals. Do you think maybe he seems more interested in focussing on a team's strengths instead of addressing their weaknesses, or is he maybe overcompensating after being labelled 'boring' at Southampton? Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
  14. I know man. Some of our fans seriously need to give their heads a wobble. Puel didn't sign any of the players and he's done well! 18 points from 11 games is a good return. I often wonder what it is that people expect.
  15. A nice bit of perspective.
  16. Hands down the most frustrating defeat of the season. Feels worse than the Palace game for me. Simply because the opposition were also poor.
  17. I remember their swift counter attack away at West Brom. It was glorious. In seriousness, I will them credit where it's due with regards to clearing out debts and purchasing the stadium, but suggesting that they won the league is silly.
  18. My biggest criticism from a football point of view is that when they've sacked a manager it appears like they've never had anyone lined up to replace them so it looks like they don't really know what direction they want to take the club. However, Pearson and Ranieri obviously worked out and the signs are encouraging with Puel (though time will tell). So perhaps they do know the traits they want in a manager and I was being a bit harsh.
  19. Schmeichel Dragovic Morgan Maguire Albrighton Iborra Ndidi Chilwell Mahrez Vardy Gray
  20. I'm hungover as shit but still buzzing from that. Honestly it was incredible. The lads showed great spirit to come back and I'm almost as happy that Harry Maguire got the equaliser as I am with the result. He's been a fantastic signing for us and it would be an absolute travesty if he's not in the England squad for the world cup, unless he gets injured of course.
  21. To be fair, I think we have the personal to play 3-4-3 effectively.
  22. Apparently Nzonzi to Arsenal is pretty much a done deal.
  23. I remember the Middlesbrough home game last season when we equalised in the last minute and one thing that made me smile as I was walking out of the ground afterwards was when I heard this bloke say to his young lad: 'see son, that's why we never leave a game early'.
  24. How much do you reckon we could realistically get for him?
  25. Think we'll definitely see more going out than coming in.
