  1. Two things: Firstly our Christmas fixture list was more congested than Man City's and secondly, it's about giving players an opportunity. Puel wants to assess his squad. Before the game he thought the team was good enough to win the game, as did I.
  2. Don't blame the manager. Blame the players who were supposed to use that as an opportunity to put themselves in first team contention. I understand there is a lack of cohesion, but that doesn't excuse 0 shots on target against a mid-table league one outfit.
  3. One of those. He blows hot and cold. At times he looks a real asset and at other times looks like a complete donkey. If he doesn't want to be here then we should **** him off.
  4. I disagree. He'd at least put their backline under pressure. They're not great on the ball and they'd have given more away. The thing that bothered me today was a lack of pressing, especially from the front.
  5. Don't even agree with that. He got roasted on at least three occasions.
  6. Sorry, but Amartey was arguably the worst the player on the pitch.
  7. The only positive (sort of) is we're still in it, though we deserve to be out of it.
  8. This! The manager gave players an opportunity to prove themselves and none of them took it.
  9. 1) Vardy 2) King 3) Maguire 4) Mahrez 5) Ndidi
  10. They do say that thunder only happens when it's raining...
  11. 50 points is a realistic target. That would pretty guarantee us a top ten finish too.
  12. Getting new songs going is almost impossible these days.
  13. THIS. The media and many football supporters like to see managers who come across like fans. I personally want the complete opposite. I want a manager who comes across as very professional, calm, levelheaded and can separate himself from the emotional side of the game.
  14. I was thinking, we don't really have any significant gaps in our squad. Ok there's always room for improvement, but if we weren't to make any significant signings but kept our key players then it would have been a good window for us.
  15. Outside our ground...
  16. Should have a statue outside the ground in my opinion.
  17. No, because as I said there was still white on the kit. I don't mind having kits with an additional trim, as long as the club's colours are still predominantly blue and white. For the last four years we've had more gold on the kit every season while the white has completely disappeared. I'd bet my house on the next one being blue and gold. I'm not the only person that feels this way. I can see that we're not going to agree on this one and that's fair enough.
  18. Hard to considering I was one..
  19. http://historicalkits.co.uk/Leicester_City/Leicester_City.htm Doesn't take a genius to see that the club colours for the vast majority of our history are blue and white.
  20. If Swansea are preparing for life in the championship, they probably should stuck with Clement. I understand why they didn't because it would have given off the impression that they've given up. Their biggest problem is their players just aren't good enough for this level.
  21. It's a real shame. Let's just hope we got a right-back in the early stages of the January window.
  22. It's quite funny because in the post match threads I'm one of the few that tries to say something positive instead of just going into meltdown.
  23. I've absolutely no problem with free stuff, but not things that I just find cringeworthy. For instance, I think the beer and food is a really nice touch and is something the club doesn't have to do and I give them credit for that. Whereas I'm not at all keen on the Vardy masks and Jester hats. I'm not all doom and gloom, I just have a preference as to how I'd like the club to appear and obviously it doesn't coincide with everyone's. Out of interest, has anyone on here ever referred to themselves as an 'ultra'?
  24. Best Albums. Wolf Alice – ‘Visions Of A Life’ Alvvays – ‘Antisocialites’ Japanese Breakfast - Soft sounds from another planet Chelsea Wolfe - Hiss Spun The National - Sleep Well Beast Mac DeMarco - This Old Dog Song of the year: Chromatics - Shadow Biggest Disappointments The new Queens of the stone age record was a complete disappointment. Hands down their worst album for me. Slowdive- Dead Oceans: some really great moments on it but not a touch on 90s slowdive. Though they were still awesome when i saw them back in October. On a side note: is anyone interested in starting an indie/dream-pop band? Influences include: Alvvays, The Smiths, Slowdive, The Cure, Cigarettes after sex, Mac DeMarco, Japanese Breakfast, JAWS etc.
