  1. Nice of you to call me babe or then again maybe not... I know - autocorrect excuse coming up. Seriously though I think it is a tougher group than made out for the top three four sides as there are real scrappers in there. Even Moldova can be hard to break down. But we kept our composure last night and did what we needed to without hitting the heights. I think we will be tough to beat because of the belief in the squad at the moment. With Ramsey back, as well as King played last night and he was very good tbh, we will be better. A good result in Austria and then hopefully home wins against Georgia and Serbia before end of year would put us in a very good position.
  2. So who will in your opinion? I think we (Wales) have a very good chance indeed provided we remain injury free. PS King had very good for Wales this evening. Worked hard, some great passes and nearly a long range goal. Best he has played I suggest for Wales. If he can play like that for the Foxes as well our midfield will be in good shape depth wise.
  3. Andy King playing very well for us this evening.
  4. I suffer from birch tree pollen hay fever. But I have controlled really well the last few years. My tactic is to start prophylactic measures about a month before you know your season is going to happen so I now take a 10mg Loratadine tablet each day at the same time (was on Telfast but GP changed it as cheaper and I found it better) and Beconase nasal spray at the same time. Keep to it. Also shower in the evenings to get rid of pollen if you've been out. Add in eating local honey as and when, no hassle last few years.
  5. Stop going through it then.
  6. Just tried the Fighting Cockwomble forum: 'An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.' Never heard a one-all draw described as that before.;-) Seriously though I have a couple of Spurs fans as mates and both are genuinely pleased that if not them then us it is who will win the title as now seems increasingly likely. So as someone said above let's be dignified if we do. Like Rudyard Kipling's If, eh?
  7. Some of the stories about us as this season boils up to its conclusion make me think of the joke about a guy who goes to the doctor and the doctor says "you're not paranoid but it doesn't mean everyone's not out to get you!" So today's Times has two features, one by Oliver Kay reminding all of Vardy's casino incident and the other on the ultimate failure of the Ice Kings in 63 as had the Mail and Sun recently. Paranoia or? ;-)
  8. I have a really fond spot for Leicester having been a student at Leicester University over 30 years ago and my older son following in my footsteps over the last few years. Always found it a city you had to work to discover but very well worth it for some real gems and surprises with a rich history. So I always praise it especially now the Foxes are doing well! Always struck me that the citizens were always a little reticent to express pride if I am honest which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I live in Cardiff nowadays a city very similar in size and whose citizens also are a little bit reticent or have been. I think Leicester could learn from Cardiff which has transformed itself over the last 20 years with a real new found confidence. Admittedly devolution has helped in that respect but there is a real buzz about the new developments. The bay and barrage has been important though it neglected its communities in the development. Seems Leicester is on the way up in recent years. But needs to be bold without ditching its heritage. My quick test nowadays to look at cities' vibrance is the number of restaurants on TripAdvisor. Look forward to a visit again in the near future and a pint of Tiger in the Globe.
  9. Nerves? The performance was nervy and that transmitted to the crowd? Sounded quiet on the box.
  10. You would think that Cambridge students could spell flair correctly. Thickos.
  11. Hi All Supported the Foxes since 1979 when I went to university in Leicester but was always very fond of the club since watching the 1969 FA Cup final on the box and seeing Weller (white tights and all), Worthington and co on MOTD in the 70s. A south Wales valleys boy, hence the name, living in Cardiff.
