He was. We were struggling a little in the first half with the Austrian set up allowing Alaba to roam. Coleman brought him on to do a specific midfield task to address that and the game changed. I still don't think he should feature in our regular first team matchday squad as better players there now. But no denying his loyalty or ability to do as required on important occasions.

Tom Lawrence worked hard for Wales this evening and did reasonably well. Might have been a premature loss imho. Should have inserted buy back clause perhaps. Kingy was steady when he came on.
