Perhaps the players aren't actually limited but actually have been limited by what's been previously asked of or expected from them. And Puel has realised that. Quite a difference. I think he has liberated them. -
Woy will set them difficult to break down. They have some threats up front too especially Zaha and are picking up wins and points. But with the right team and tactics, and the confidence we should now have, then we should win. But it will be tough and I'll happily take a one goal victory to keep the momentum going and the charge up the table. Come on you Foxes!

Glad to see Kasper is still a top shot stopper!

Our record defending corners is ABYSMAL. It has become a total joke. Until it is sorted (........Kasper?? ..... please......) we will NOT be seeing clean sheets. 2-2 tonight. Brilliant performance spoilt by our goalkeeper's inability to come out to gather set-pieces Haven't seen this goal but my younger son, a Cardiff City fan, said Schmeichel was the perhaps the worst keeper he'd ever seen at dominating his box at set pieces when he played for them. Don't think he's improved

When we are we going to spend some time on the training pitch setting up for and practising defence at set pieces. Real Achilles heel at the moment.

Bastard! Come on don't throw it away now.

Let's get a fourth. Then I can relax and look forward to a good happy night's sleep.

Whilst we made poor mistakes that cost us, anyone who watched that game and thinks we were lucky to come away with three points is severely deluded. Admittedly Newcastle weren't great, but there was one team head and shoulders above the other footballing wise, and that was us! -

The slow start and too many stupid defensive errors aside, which cost us the goals, we look a much more accomplished footballing side now under Puel. Add to that some individual brilliance at times and what seems to be a renewed, reinvigorated band of brothers spirit as evidenced by the desire to win and the celebrations at the final whistle, I think we can enjoy the rest of the season! -
Ndidi's first touch let's him down so badly. Poorest aspect of his game.
-
Stupid mistakes creeping in here. No need. We should won this comfortably if we play well.
-
We've been threatening.

Brilliant Riyad!

Haven't seen the game so getting my information from the forum and the sky updates. Great to win, especially versus the Spuds. But why are we Jekyll and Hyde at the moment with huge differences between our opening 30-45 and the second half essentailly. Puel will need to address that including his own management. -

Watching Watford on Sky now, should have gone for Marco Silva. Some really nice football. -

The Claude Puel Era - what will he bring?
Cadno'r Cymoedd replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
What we saw from the opening 30 or so minutes in each of the games to date is he is trying to change our style to a side that is comfortable on the ball and can play through the middle. I can't quite fathom what happens after that though. We saw a collective brainfart again last night, giving away needless free kicks and inviting pressure onto ourselves, especially as we appear clueless at defending set piece crosses. Schmeichel, for all his plus points, is awful at dominating his 6 yard box and the defenders too timid. And as with Stoke and Man City, we conceded just before the interval. The second half was crying out for us to regain the initiative but Puel seemed reluctant to change anything. Strange.
