Huddersfield Town (A) - Match Thread

I'm with you. I understand the general frustration but we don't look bad at all. We're very much in the game and had a couple good chances. Nacho was unlucky with the one when the ball hit the defender's leg. Udders had their open goal chance and wasted it. We need to start the second half on the front foot, a couple of hopefully good subs, and just hope we'll get the upper hand. -

KDH needs to be subbed, not his day, he's on a yellow too. I'd like to see MA instead This is pretty even, let's hope we'll be the first and only team to score! -

We're trying too hard to play it from the back for my liking. Need a bit more movement -

He's still a baby in goalkeeper years. This is a great game for him to pick some experience & confidence -

Ahh so close well done Ian COYL -
I for one can't say I blame him any more than other players. I don't think even Maradona or Pele would save this team from relegation. Maddison didn't have too many good games this season, true, but then who had? He's one of the symptoms but he's not the cause of our downfall. Bet he signs for a top 6-8 club and will do very well for them, surely not worse than Mahrez does for Man City or Kante did for Chelsea. The (PL) ship has sailed months ago, BR and Top are the major culprits (Top for being in denial of reality and letting Rodgers stay for so long). I'm massively disappointed we had quality players like Maddison and Tielemans or Praet available for most of the season and still couldn't stay up because we bet on the wrong no.1 kept leaking goals and stupidly persisted with negative possession based tactics and a sole striker upfront. Next season we'll have to cope with the mediocrity of KDH and limits of Barnes (IF he stays, that is) and many of those who now call Maddison or Tielers lazy gutless cnuts (which is perfectly understandable btw) not fit to wear the shirt will most probably miss them when they leave... which seems inevitable. I'm just massively, massively dissapointed we are getting relegated with this squad of players whom collectively I consider to be, at worst, midtable PL quality, never a relegation material. At last, this is some genuine, proper underachievement to stain one's CV for that toxic **** called Brendan Rodgers, eh.

How much of a donkey **** Brendan Rodgers is for allowing this guy rot on the bench for the entire season? Answers on a postcard...

I thought we'll do much better at home against this lot. I was proven wrong. But... hope springs eternal I guess? -
Your glass must be half full then... I'm looking at two midtable Championship teams
-
Think what if we played this Ivy lad for most of the season instead of Rodgers' number one... Does my head in
-
Can we have a shot on goal fuchssake.... Come on Leicester
-
It was suicidal to put up with him for so long...
-
Yeah... I'd say that GD is a bit of overachievement on our part
-
Great results all around. Everton won't roll over for us though, we'll have to turn up and do our job on Monday. All in our players' hands... legs!
-
Hear hear. The same starting line-up for me, please. Wait, did you drop Tielers... We have to play Tielers. I'd go all in and drop Soumare for Youri.
-
Have faith, we can do this. We can't afford to have any more passengers in the starting 11 though. If Ian won't be available then we have to play both Daka and Vards upfront. Barnes and Vic need rockets up their butts and Tete has to be benched.

Leeds 1-1 LCFC - Post Match Thread
Chester Dontlie replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'll take that point. Yes, Leeds were doggo, but so were some of our players. Deano is learning what his best first 11 should be. My biggest take away from this is, all of our Belgians should be starting from now on, Praet should be playing because Tete just doesn't work, he has zero confidence. Also Ian has to play beside either Vards or Daka (or both). Otherwise it's as bad as isolating Vards in the previous seasons. -
last sec Vardy goal come on

I'll take that point now
