Anyone who says ‘match week’ can get right in the bin…

Is Onana tall or something? It’s not quite clear from the commentary -

I get it…. I suspect we’re agreeing with one and other…. He’s a big talent… He’s not earned the right (yet) to be mentioned in the same breath as one of undisputed greats of the game…. It’s too much! -

He was very good…. I’m not disputing that…. The point I’m making is that he’s not Zidane yet… -

Can we finally put to bed that Bellingham is not the new Zidane yet…. He’s clearly a talent, but the love in is way over the top -

Saka was the best player in the first half? -
A small village 5km along the coast from Falaraki… Afantou

Part of the challenge…. There are so many chains out there…. In France, you get McDonalds here and there, but restaurants are, in the main, independent…. There trade depends on being good… in Leicester city centre 70% are chains…. Some are good, some less so

Inside it’s not a lot better…. They’ve not varnished the tables properly and they feel a bit sticky…. Yep, not easy on the eye however, it’s not the be all and the end all for me…. One of the finest meals I’ve ever had was on a Formica table on a remote ‘N’ road in France…

Just booked 8 nights in Rhodes in August…. A villa in a little village with a few tavernas…. Any tips?

I really enjoyed it…. Service was comedy level bad though (had to ask for water 4 times and they had no idea what they were serving us in the wine tasting course)…. Food was superb…. I’d go back, but my wife was put off…

And churros aren’t battered….

No mars bars or pizzas? Pfft…
-
Not bad, but littered with errors…. Not errors a Leicester fan would have made… He sounded like an American open university lecturer too…. Which made it challenging

10 hours, but I walked it, because I’m not mad beautiful walk…

I did, it was pretty busy on a Saturday lunchtime, but you may get away with it?

Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities was first published in two local newspapers. It was the Bicester Times, it was the Worcester Times.

The big sharing platters (hams, cheese and olives) are good fun with a wine taster…. I had a mix of three reds which were all pretty good 👍🏼 Fill up with a garlic bread if that does not suffice (they’re big platters though)…. Quite a fun dining experience…. I’m off to Oggi tonight…. Really enjoyed it last time I went

I went last night with some colleagues and had a good meal there…. It’s pretty good and a lovely building

Anyone know anything about a Skoda Kodaiq? I’m thinking about getting a used petrol one…. They look nice and have decent MPG and I squeeze all my dogs in! Any thoughts?

Can I put a bet on at half time?

Congratulations… Furniture…. It depends on your taste? I made a dining table out of the same oak I had on my worktops…. I got a metalworker to make the base loads of stuff on FB marketplace…. I’ve picked up some nice bits (just need to be patient) eBay is a good resource…. John Lewis do some nice sofas and there’s a couple of outfits based out of Manchester who deal with customer returns (mine looked brand new)…. They knock them out for a good chunk cheaper… white goods…. I’ve often gone for graded stuff…. I’ve brought stuff from eBay direct from AO for instance…. As long as you can live with the odd scratch that you’re inevitably going to pick up anyway, it can be a good saving…. John Lewis have some good deals in the corner of the showroom too for bits they want to get rid of…
