Opinion/ Vitriol - you get the point…. If you want to call me out for overstating things on that point, then I’ll happily to take it on that chin… Scroll back and you’ll see plenty of hyperbolic comments regarding Cooper (but you already know that!) There were plenty of ‘Enzo out’ posters last year too, and I was at Plymouth away where my mate got ripped into for applauding them off at the end! And that atmosphere was borderline vitriolic at the end of that match by the way I can also read stats too, and they’re nothing without context…. He took Forest up, they stayed up and then the wheels fell off…. He had basket case for an owner…. There are also plenty of good stats, albeit at a different level, at Swansea and England youth…. And we are yet to determine whether his solid reputation as coach is is unfounded or not… How much choice did are owners have? We don’t really know…. I’m just pointing out that it’s not reasonable to declare that he’s a disaster after 7 bloody games… Okoli was a woeful based on a couple of pre-season games and Skipp was poor and way too expensive according to the experts on here …. One looks right at home in the prem now and the other looks to be just about worth the money from where I’m sat… He may not be the second coming, but I suspect that he may just be competent/ a steady hand on the tiller…. Given a bit of time, patience and support he good even be quite good…. We shall see of course!

I’m not posting as much as I have done in previous seasons on this forum for a reason… The ‘hate in’ for Cooper is quite strange and not remotely fair or balanced…. I’m not going to psycho analyse posters as to the reasons why the spout such vitriol, but it may be representative of the modern need to for instant gratification, like needing to pick up your phone or see a like on instagram or this this forum (I suspect I’m spouting sh@t)…. Why aren’t we tearing other teams a new one every game? I mean, we’ve got a new team and we are bedding in…. I actually go to matches, and it’s not all pretty, but we were set up well yesterday on occasion we played well…. It takes time and patience (things which are in short commodity on this forum) Cooper is not the most thrilling of managers, but he’s competent and given a chance, he may be able to build things and do ok…. Staying up would be a start and I think he has that in his locker The jury’s in though…. It’s quite a depressing read if I’m being honest…. Puts me off And don’t anyone dare say I lack ambition for my club…

Everything can be looked at with rose tinted glasses I’m delighted my son can go to a game without fear of some scroat kicking 10 bells out of him (although he did get a slap from some coked up Stoke 40 year olds a couple of years back) Most teams in the PL would batter the better teams from 20 years ago I suspect, but that’s because methods of playing are hugely different as opposed to raw talent… I enjoyed watching us under MON and I enjoy (occasionally) us playing today….

I’m not on my own on this forum, when it comes to feeling slightly baffled with judgement of Cooper with ‘Cooper out’ threads, when we’ve played and competed in most of our matches (Saturday aside, which was mainly woeful) One poster was genuinely suggesting that those with an alternative view to his ‘Cooper out’ opinion lacked ambition for the club… Coopers longer track record is not all bad…. Not all good either, but he’s not the clueless half whit he’s being painted out to be either…. The impatience and tantrums is rather embarrassing It’s beyond ludicrous in my view…. I recognise others will have an alternative opinion - CLEARLY! And that’s fine! I was just pointing out the obvious (to me) irony in @Finnegan’s post…
