  1. I hope that when we play Roma in the CL Quarter finals, that he gets properly booed and H1 throw their flasks and blankets at him
  2. A bit Wout of the blue
  3. That's a bit Tit for Tattva
  4. Maybe we'll go back in for Ilias Chair
  5. I'll have a Q please Bob
  6. Fantastic forum and many thanks for all the hard work put in and all the superbly knowledgeable posters who keep it informative and funny. It's nearly as well run as the the club itself 😄
  7. Great soundtrack
  8. Not so sure about this. You're probably a similar age to me based on supporting Leicester through the 80's but the profile and accessibility to the big clubs over the last few decades, via the biased media , makes it very difficult for youngsters to stick with their local team , unless the parents are diehard fans or that particular club were regularly successful. My family originated from Leicester but moved to Bedford , where I was bought up. Grandad, dad and the whole family were Leicester and I had very little choice in the matter and my only chance of watching league football was convincing my dad to drive up for games involving Leicester. No F In way would dad have paid to take me to Arsenal (for example) as he hated them and wouldn't have spent the time and money to go there. It was Leicester or f off up the park with a ball on a Saturday afternoon 😄 Sky sports has given the big clubs the exposure, which other clubs don't get to the younger audience and they unfortunately DO follow the big clubs , where I live and probably most of the country, because they want to see their teams in big competitions. There's probably a lot of youngsters that go and watch Peterborough, for example, but still follow Liverpool or Utd. KDH was brought up with Leicester and Utd connections and I bet there's quite a few similar all over.
  9. Well that's cheered me up , no end 👍
  10. Really hope KDH goes on and has a superb career as he's been really good for us. I really hope Chelsea FC fall off a cliff
  11. He was fantastic for us and ,in the brief time he was with us, made us really exciting to watch. Joined on loan at the same time as Paul Moran , but Kevin became a player we all fell in love with and were desperate for the loan to become permanent. We didn't have the money then so , unsurprisingly, he went back to Arsenal. Still some great memories of him in our shirt. A good pundit and came across as a thoroughly nice person. Gone far too soon RIP Super Kev❤️
  12. We've (my group of friends) always used that description for a member of the opposite sex as a Bette Midler as in they look great From a Distance but it gets quite disappointing the nearer you get. It's probably the same for that person the nearer they get to us tbf.😄
  13. Forest saying they don't care about us , is no weirder than our fans saying how much they hate Spurs , then having a Chelsea love in , after years of them poaching our players and staff. If Cooper is appointed by Leicester, I'll 100% back him and his staff, although there's others I'd prefer. Next season is all about survival for us and I don't care how crap the football is , as long as we are in the division at the end of it. We need a few years of stability and to get our finances in order without thinking we can challenge for Europe for a while.
  14. I'm not ' I want Enzo to fail' But I totally hate Chelsea and everything about them. Some of their fans are OK but I want Chelsea ,the club, to fall flat on their arrogant faces. So him being their manager makes me want him to fail just because he'll be managing that despicable club.
  15. Did you really think that Sunderland away was genius from Enzo? I thought it was a thoroughly desperately poor performance which could have finished with a penalty to Sunderland and they smacked the bar earlier. We did have some very good away performances but Sunderland was awful
  16. Right up in Dutchness with Clogs and Edam 🇳🇱
  17. The Dutch are some of the funniest and most likable lot I've met. Even if Ruud isn't 😐 Great accent for schexy football interviewsch
  18. Not saying I'd want him but he had some special moments up there and got the ground buzzing especially in their 1st season up, where they never gave up. We'll need plenty of that next season. Hopefully it's someone else though
  19. If its Cooper, things could get ugly
  20. Maybe Jose would see us as his final piece of his managing great clubs of achievement jigsaw. Yes I know he managed Spurs as well😄
  21. Didn't Gerrard's move to Chelsea fail at the last minute due to death threats and abuse to his friends and family from some of the best supporters in world football? Could be wrong though🤔
  22. Spurs qualified quite a few times for CL campaigns and were still pretty shit. Initially, top 4 might satisfy the Chelsea board but any drop in levels and he's toast. Although he'll be able to afford caviar on his😄 Tbh He might do OK but he'll be up against some big hitters and his way of playing, even with much better players, will still cause some calamitous moments, which he'll be heavily scrutinised under the ever watchful media. He's had a fairly easy ride so far but things will be different for him from now on. Feel free to remind me about it , if I'm wrong👍😄
  23. Well we could never offer him what Chelsea can, so should we just give him something similar to Brendan?
  24. Said that about Potter They're never given the time
  25. He would have been paid very well at Manchester and would have had a promotion bonus from us , I would have thought. Still think he'd be able to shop at Morrisons and not Aldi😄
