The players and especially the club already do a lot for the city and the community. Its not the players responsibility to do 'whip rounds'. The staff and everyone connected to the club would be on a good wage and get 'perks' for working at the club or stadium. In all walks of life there will be people that earn considerably more than other people but it is up to them what they do with their money that they have earned and it is no one elses business.

The foreign owners of these clubs couldn't care less about their fans they are just looking for extra revenue and £££££. The fans are becoming less and less relevant to the big clubs.

As a striker I just want someone who regularly puts the ball in the back of the net, that's what strikers are for. I get the other stuff, can they hold the ball up, can they bring others into play, can they distract defenders while other players make breakthroughs etc. Yes they have to be team players but also have to show a willingness to get into positions and a selfishness and determination to get the ball in the net. Its about getting the best out of the strikers and what systems are best for that. Goals win games. Its comman place nowadays to just play one striker up front. We just need to maximise the chances for our strikers so at the very least they put one of those chances away. Vardy is getting on now and will eventually need replacing. Has Daka shown enough given more game time that he can step up.( I would argue the jury is still out, and he might not be here next season). Cannon still too early to tell while Kalechi is still hit and miss and is not as prolific as we all hoped. That leaves buying a new striker we I think we do need at some stage. As fans we all want a prolific twenty goals a season striker.

Leicester 'set to become one of UK's top stag do locations'
foxy boxing replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
It all depends on what you want on a stag do i guess! Where's London, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Glasgow. Is this just a list of alertatives if the bigger cities aren't to everyone liking! -
Because he didn't want to be found to have lied under oath. Its that simple!.

A woman is missing and is thought she may have gone into the river in a case eerily similar to the Nicola Bulley case. Obviously no one knows at this stage what has happened to the woman but the chances of it happening again seems pretty suspicious to me. Apparently her coat has been found in the river. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I do wonder if there is a person or persons pushing single women on there own into rivers. Whether its a depressed person copycating what happened to Niicola Bulley or whether there is something more sinister happening the police need to find out quickly if something more suspicious is happening before it might happen to other women.

The good news is if Trump does win he can only be President for 4 more years and not be able to run again, the bad news he probably can do lot of damage in four years.

They will never wipe out Hamas as it is also an ideology as well as a terrorist organisation.they will limit( don't know how long) the groups ability to launch another major attack for which Israel is still smarting how the intelligence failed so spectacularly. They need to disrupt the supply line from Iran to Hamas via tunnels from Egypt and other smuggling routes. There is also what to do after they've supposedly limited Hamas ability to carry out attacks. How will the reconstruction of Gaza go after the major army initiatives have ended and who will be responsible for the reconstruction. The Israelis after the war want to terminate whatever responsibility they have over the Gaza strip and only want to be responsible for Israels security over the border with it!. The Hamas ideology is deep in Gaza where young Palestinians are indoctrinated from very early ages to hate Israelis and are taught it is their duty to resist occupation and their will always be other generations that are brought up to hate and sacrifice there lives to kill Israelis. The Israelis can win militarily but after the current conflict there needs to be some sort of peace initiative with whatever ends up ruling Gaza after or if Hamas are sufficiently destroyed. The Israelis can either keep destroying Gaza or help build a future for the innocent civilians of Gaza so that they don't just know an ever cycle of death and destruction but can choose another way where the people of Gaza can build and thrive without the need for death and destruction. A tall order.

Rwanda will only be able to take a few hundred(maybe) at best and there are more than a few hundred every week crossing the channel so unless they are able to do deals with other countries at a cost of millions to the taxpayer, which I can't see what exactly was the whole point! It is an absolute hollow victory for the government.

An asylum seeker has died on the Bibby Stockholm, apparent suicide. At the end of the day it is someone's life and people's lives should not be a political football for everyone to kick around!.

BI - Regeneration. So we get Ncuti's doctor as well as keeping David Tennant's doctor! So does that mean we will see Tennant in future episodes!. First of all it was a great episode with Neil Patrick Harris who was absolutely Awe (wait for it!) some as the toymaker. Personally think it was the best of the three specials. Personally don't know how I feel about the Bi - regeneration as its breaking with the mould and redefining the lore of what doctor who was about. Obviously it's a balancing act with respecting what doctor who is about with the fact you have to keep reinventing and revigerating the show to not only keep the audience that are fans and have grown up watching the show but to also to appeal to younger and newer audiences which is obviously extremely tough.

If this is true and not a joke then it's a sickening idiotic, thoughtless and ignorant person who has no idea what he spouts out.

Squid game: the challenge was absolutely brilliant and the finale was great and the winner was totally deserving. To win the game you had to be smart, intelligent, ruthless with a little bit of luck. I was rooting for the winner halfway through the games and they came through. Brilliant series.

I'm sick of the double standards and hypocrisy of a so called democratic country, the so called leader of the free world that tries to cut women's rights with regards to abortions yet refuses to have any sort of gun controls which could save lives. They bring these massacres on themselves because they view their right to bear arms is more important than human life. Its absolutely pathetic.

the news is saying any asylum seeker sent to Rwanda who gets jailed over there could be sent back to the U.K. if ever there are asylum seekers sent to Rwanda they will all try and get jailed over there so they can come back?. The whole Rwanda thing has been a farce from the beginning and already cost the taxpayer millions even before anyone has been sent there. honestly the whole Rwanda thing is a massive S"£t show and not one person has gone yet.

A lot of the Commonwealth countries are pretty poor so for them hosting it isn't an option. Its obviously way down on the list of sporting events, lesser than Olympics, world's, even European. The games stem from Britain's colonial past and apart from nostalgia what exactly is keeping the games in an already packed fixture calender. Its a shame with the history of the games if it dies out but times change, things move on and a number of countries in the Commonwealth are seeking independence from Britain and trying to move on from their Colonial pasts.

A good episode with having just The Doctor and Donna Noble in it apart from the start when they had Isaac Newton who was played by a black actor( more wokeness). If a white actor was playing a black historical figure there would be uproar. I wish shows wouldn't try to rewrite history and to portray historical figures accurately. It's this type of wokeness that gets peoples backs up.

Sadly we live in a culture of "celebrity worship" where seemingly anyone can become a "celebrity" or have the ability to influence people. Personally I couldn't care less what so called "celebrities " eat, drink and do in their personal lives.

Actually love Doctor who and Sci - fi am just making the point that Doctor Who as with Disney/ Marvel is going down the same path it would seem making the same mistakes. You only have to look at how disney/marvel is doing with the fan backlash against the current content put out ie the Marvels etc. It should only be about great story telling and special effects and not preach any kind of message sermon to fans!.
-
Great seeing David Tennant back, generally regarded as the greatest ever doctor. Obviously the show has got a bigger budget with being associated with Disney but also with that association is the fact that like Disney it is being called "woke". I don't mind what they do with the show or scripts as long as the story is great. If they want to be putting political messages in shows with regard to pronouns and other "woke" stuff that's fine as long as the story is great.

The world does seem more polorized. It is a war of ideology. Freedom and democracy against countries wanting to impose their authoritarianism on others. Countries wanting to keep their influence over others from diminishing. Its about power and control. Divide and conquer. There are no easy solutions as with all conflict Its about compromise and what you and the other are prepared to live with, if you can't Its fight and die!.

The episode Fishes where you have guest stars Bob Odenkirk and Sarah Paulson is amazing, a fantastic bit of relegation.

If it helps people into work faster then fine. Threatening jobseekers all the time is not the answer, more help to find suitable, sustainable work is. People turn down jobs for many different reasons. Location, hours, type of job, etc. There will always be people that try and "game" the system but most just want to find a regular, sustainable job.

We really need a win or I expect Enzo to really give the players Watford! .
