  1. Not the greatest performances but we have to give him time. The chance he had to play Vardy in behind the last man, but instead played the ball in completely the wrong direction, summed up his performance. Just not on the same wavelength as Vardy. He also needs to lay it off quickly when he's being pressurised because otherwise he'll get out-muscled and lose the ball, like he's done a few times in the 2 games so far. But I guess he's not playing in his preferred position so may take a while to adapt.
  2. I'm happy to recommend @Resonate as a seller. Bought 2 tickets for the Crystal Palace match off his and he was a genuine bloke. Cheers
  3. I have one ticket for the Carabao cup match which I can no longer attend. Face value is £15 but I'll give it away for £10 if you can collect it from Syston tonight. The ticket is in J3 row J.
  4. Limited tickets available on the website. I've just picked up one!
  5. I'm also looking for a single ticket for today's game
  6. PM sent
  7. Looking for 1 ticket for the Burnley game.
  8. I agree to an extent - whilst he was covering the full backs when they went forward, he was still too timid and afraid to show for the ball in my opinion. He was constantly hiding behind their attackers pretending to be marked, so that he wouldn't receive the ball. When we were in possession he offered absolutely nothing and didn't create any space to receive the ball, but on the other hand his defensive positioning was sound and he covered a lot of ground and made some good interceptions and tackles (apart from the foul on the edge of the area, which was a naive challenge).
  9. Looking for 2 tickets together for the Watford game. My mate is coming from Germany to watch it so it'd be nice to sit together.
  10. @josh_baskin Top guy - sent me his Man City ticket by first class recorded delivery on the same day that I paid him. Great work!
  11. We should've kept Nathan Dyer. He was better than Musa.
  12. Inckley - your one man mission to defend Amartey is admirable but also misguided. Can you actually tell us what Amartey is good at? Yes all the other players you've mentioned have fallen below standards, but what does Amartey contribute? As far as most of us can see, he can't pass forward, he doesn't follow his runners, he isn't creative, he doesn't win the ball much, he doesn't dictate play, he doesn't score goals or link up with attackers. As a midfielder you need to do one or more of those things to be of any value. It's all well and good saying Drinkwater was worse, Fuchs was worse, Morgan was worse etc. But they at least contribute to the team when they are playing well and don't shirk their responsibilities. Drinkwater will still look for the ball and try to pass forward even after he's made mistakes. The others all contributed to our success last season. Amartey may have potential but he's done very little to convince most of us that he deserves a place in the squad, let alone the firs team.
  13. Out of his depth at the moment. Afraid to make forward passes and his positioning and tracking of runs is poor. It doesn't matter how old you are, you are told as a kid to follow the runners if you are defending and the amount of times he losses his man is unacceptable. His technique is below par, some of his long passes today were just hoofs. He doesn't add anything to our team in my opinion. Yes he wasn't the worst player but that's because he doesn't do a lot with the ball. He plays too safe, even I could turn up and play backward passes or square passes. That's not the point of a midfielder. I'm sorry to say but we need to strengthen our midfield and replace the likes of Amartey and King, because with them in the first team we're heading for trouble.
  14. I remember when he 'broke' into the first team - he was about 17 or 18 I think and everyone thought he was going to be a star. It's a shame his career has gone downhill but he never really had any amazing attributes to his game other than tenancity, which obviously deteriorates over time and after injuries.
  15. Huge thanks to @IOMfox for the Liverpool ticket. Great communication and sent the ticket to me even before I'd sent him payment - thanks a lot mate!
  16. How much is HDTV for Kodi? I tried ZemTV yesterday but all the streams were poor - they slowed down after 5 seconds and the audio cut out. One of the links worked but then cut out every minute-2 minutes, which was annoying. In the end I had to resort to my PC for the usual streams with pop ups etc but I'd be happy to give HDTV a try if it's worth it
  17. Got the book yesterday, looking forward to reading it judging by all the comments on here
  18. Cheers @@Steve_Walsh5 - very good seller and good communication. Pleasure doing business.

I only collect decent LCFC memorabilia which I'm glad somebody appreciates and may want!
  20. A lot of independent reviews say that the Desire is the best smartphone on the market (better than the Desire HD). I've obviously not compared them but I have a Desire and I have to say it is a top notch piece of kit. Yes it has issues with the battery (like all Android phones) but at least it works without you having to buy a special case and it doesn't have any issues with alarms not working on New Years Day or after the clocks change (yes, I'm referring to the the iPhone)

More LCFC memorabilia - this time 3 Prostars (Dennis Wise, Andy Impey and Robbie Savage). This is extremely rare as I don't think any other LCFC players have had Prostars figurines made after them. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220718587120&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_1307wt_1139

  23. Completely agree. It's not really about your photography skills or your camera if you photoshop or edit the photo on your PC.
  24. Although I was supporting the Celtics, I have to admit the Lakers deserved it. Even with Kobe not firing on all cylinders in the offence, he still ended up with 15 rebounds and the Lakers destroyed the Celtics on the boards. The Celtics played well in the first quarter of game 7 but then were outscored in the remainder of the game, and their field goal % dropped badly. Ron Artest stepped up to the plate for the Lakers and I think home court advantage played a big part in the end.
