The only thing this disaster of a weekend might do is give all the motivation for RVN to drill it into our squad that we need to be 100% + from here on otherwise it's another relegation.

I'd cut RVN some slack as today was gonna be tough with even our strongest squad. I doubt he was expecting the keeper situation to hit us like today. It's unexpected to change keepers. Though he needs to park the Ward experiment or it will come back to bite him.

We're a bit more suspect at the back as we have improved our edge up front. All things considered it's the better of the 2 scenarios than that of coopers philosophy. I welcome his attack minded approach. He was one of the best in the leagues history so hopefully he can help with our play up front. Earky days and not without teething problems so far but If he can get a backroom team around him to work on the defensive side this could be promising....

Not sure I'd ever have much faith in Peps integrity given his playing career.

Would have taken a draw when losing 1-0 so that nearly seems like a win! Badly needed that point with the schedule. As much as we gave cooper stick it's not dissimilar to some other results we've had this season. But not a bad start from Ruud. We've a lot of work to do but hopefully good signs for us ahead.

I'm not so sure. Incredible talent but he has been knocked out of 3 tv events in the first round this year. There are other players like gian van veen emerging and there are bound to be more young players breaking through in the next few years. Players time at the top is far shorter in the ally pally era.
