why the use of The Dutchman as a pejorative? -
Clapping players off the pitch after a humiliating defeat to a relegation rival or walking out of the stadium at 75 minutes when we're winning Which way western man?

He had an interesting journey to joining us. https://przegladsportowy.onet.pl/pilka-nozna/premier-league/niespotykana-historia-z-polakiem-w-roli-glownej-teraz-jest-o-nim-glosno/pvne5hn Started out at UKS Chęciny (a village youth team essentially), then Piast Chęciny in the 7th tier. In that region of Poland all of the good players would be hoovered up by Korona Kielce, and if you didn't play for Korona you didn't get picked for the Provincial team - he could have signed with them but "We decided that it didn't make sense. Korona was winning matches 15:0, the goalkeeper had practically nothing to do there, and in terms of training, it's best for a goalkeeper to play in a weaker team" Instead, his parents signed him up to a trial match organised by a scouting agency and from there he went on trial with us, Swansea, Arsenal and RB Leipzig.

Implies Percy's source for that was someone whose playing time was threatened by Okoli And perhaps a further suggestion that the source for Buonanotte being singled out might be threatened by his playing time too?

The only times she seems to be allowed to get involved is when 1) we're trying to flog a player for over £50m and she takes over transfer negotiations or 2) when there's PL shareholder/board meetings periodically throughout the season and we send her to some fancy hotel to represent us

Filip Benkovic joins AIK in the Swedish top flight What a strange career he's turned out to have https://aikfotboll.se/nyheter/filip-benkovic-ansluter-till-aik-fotboll-2025-01-19

Felix Magath He'd make our players turn up for training at 5am on an empty stomach, have them run up beacon hill and back down until 10am while they're carrying a medicine ball under each arm. Anyone who doesn't run two marathon distances by then is sentenced to do it again carrying 4 medicine balls. Anyone who drops from exhaustion is sent to the glue factory to be turned into more medicine balls. Plus he'd work with local cheese manufacturers to come up with the perfect Quark recipe, to apply to the players' inflamed joints.

Enzo said he played that way because he thought it was the best way to score points over the course of the season in the Championship. He did make some tactical changes against certain teams (e.g. moving Ricardo up the pitch as an additional attacker) which is more foresight/tactical knowledge than I've seen from Russell Martin whose single idea was possession for the sake of having possession. I think Enzo wouldn't have been THAT naïve enough to go into the PL season exactly the same, he suggested that the style of play would evolve over time to suit the needs of the team.

Somehow I only just learned that ex-academy player Morgan Brown is now plying his trade in Cyprus Joined Aris Limassol in 2019, even played against Rangers in the Europa League last season, but is out of their current manager's plans and set to join another club (possibly AEL Limassol according to Cypriot media - Aris want to loan him but AEL wants to buy instead) Article from last year: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12989181/Morgan-Brown-footballer-Cyprus-Aris-Limassol-Leicester.html

How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?
lfu replied to Walshy5's topic in Leicester City Forum
tbh I'm far too irritated by our predicament to be angry about where Forest are in the table. I'd love if they were down here scrapping against relegation with us instead but being at opposite ends makes it much easier to not care as much. I still take joy in them losing (rare as it is this season), and if we were mid-table I'm sure I'd care a lot more. Don't think they can win the league, I think they're more likely to finish 5th. Them potentially getting CL football is what irks me the most - Europa or Conference League I wouldn't be fussed about. But if they do, at least it would be a breath of fresh air from the Sky Super 6 which is where most of my goodwill towards them comes from. And I'd look forward to them overextending their wage budget and falling afoul of PSR in the coming seasons as they try to maintain that level 😂 -
Can't you play for 3 clubs if one of those clubs is in a summer league country (e.g. MLS with its February-October season) and the other two are winter leagues like the PL? "As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs." Ezechiel Banzuzi likely heading to Monaco for €13m. Seems like a pretty good fee to receive for him
