I was a Browns STH until just before the team was moved. Nowadays I am disgusted not just with my hometown club, but with the NFL at large. Here we have a League founder club, in a tiny provincial town playing in the same stadium since the 1950s, OWNED BY ITS FANS, not by a billionaire. We’ll never see another Leicester City. But every time the Pack challenge for a title, it may be as close as we’ll get in this diminished age for "sport". As English football goes down the tubes in a more and more NFL-like fashion … for the life of me … I’m SHOCKED that a majority of English footy fans don’t favor the Packers.

It’s too early to shit the bed! We are only three games in, and this is not unrecoverable. Ours played hard, and were the equal of a good opponent once Cooper put a balanced set of players on and Vardy was no longer running around alone. Setting up so defensively is never going to work because there is no combination of Faes, Okoli and Vestergaard that won’t spring frequent leaks. We have to possess the ball more and maintain a degree of attacking threat. We have players coming in who can do that. The squad may be good enough. It’s up to the manager, and I’m going to give him the break to work with the new guys to figure it out … or not.

It’s a long season. Why wear your guys out pressing against this level of competition. Just wait for us to make mistakes and be ready to pounce.
