No the Spuds ( yes I am one!!!) hatred started decades ago when we lost to them in the Worthington Cup at the old wembley( whatever it was called!!!). Savage got sent off I think but the main thing was a Spuds lout banged out a city woman fan in the crowd. It then obviously progressed into the " who came 3rd in a 2 horse race". I call them Souds, like I call Leeds Lids just because I can!!! But I actually really like Ange as a manager AnND I liked Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa and one of my early sporting memories was Billas goal v Man.City in the FA Cup. I.like Jews too, so Spuds are actually my Premier league team!!!🤣🤣🤣🙄

I think this forum on the whole is brilliant. We share thoughts, have a laugh some even meet up and have a sexual relationship...oh hang on wrong site. BUT seriously I'm as bad as others, if I've had a bad day or on a downer I can react like a pr1ck to a post which shouldn't warrant such a response. I can look back and apologise and off we ho again. What I was getting at is he obviously ISN'T taking the piss as you've confirmed. Theres no motive for him to do it so why is he being punished? Yeah I know so what the big deal and nothing different to when a player changes his bat/ gloves? Also how much time can be wasted when umpires look to change a ball for a similarly damaged one if required or they need spectators moving innthe crowd.
