I think that's fair. And it shouldn't be a factor in our final position this season given where we were. Maybe the terminology is the thing that irks people. Rather than luck its essentially factors outside of your control. Soton have an even more congested fixture list because of a fire near their stadium, completely out of their control but a factor in how their season progresses.

Actually from that replay didn't look like he impeded the keeper's line of sight.

I think by the letter of the law that's probably a correct decision but I reckon it doesn't get given by 95% of linos in this league and I don't think Szmodics influences the keeper at all.

Been pissed off since the game saying we'll now finish 4th and yet here I am at 5.30 cheering on Blackburn.

Looking at the run ins now I think our best hope is limping over the line in second. Even playing badly you'd hope we could get to mid nineties and then we just hope that Ipswich don't get to 97+. If they do then I don't see us matching them.

Used rotation well early on in the season, would like to see some here too. Mix up the wingers and give Coady some game time.

You'd hope this is unlikely given they still play Soton, Ipswich, and Leeds. If they get top 6 there's a good chance they've taken some points off the teams around us. Admittedly this would require us actually winning some games.

Next manager needs to be chosen for mentality above all other traits. This side doesn't need a technical fancy coach, it needs someone to drill some aggression, discipline, and bottle into them.

I've got so little appetite for Monday. Was quite looking forward to it before today, thinking a win at Bristol would steady us before a game at home against a decent team. Honestly no motivation now.

He's not good at this side of the job at all. Needs to look more serious and make it clear that he's confident we have the quality required but we'll only achieve our goal if we put in the work in training and then apply it on matchday.

The spell before the Bristol goal was a little better and we should have got a goal, but we did nothing once we went behind. We're performing like a relegation battler.

Very poor quality. We just look completely lost of any confidence. Be very happy if we can pinch the win here because the performance so far doesn't deserve it.

On the face of it, some of our recent dealings make me think we either didn't fully understand our position in relation to the rules, or had no intention of complying with the rules anyway. Both would be concerning.
