When I did a quick tally through our fixtures I had us bang on 100 points. Would oddly be disappointing given the position we were in not so long ago.
-
I don't think we've had that many bad decisions against us this season, but the timing of the ones we have had has also been horrible...affecting huge games against Ipswich and Leeds.

Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?

One way of resolving some of these worries and issues is to get through that adversity when you next face it. This is it now. It's an opportunity. -

Appreciate this is for discussion the refereeing decision but that screenshot is really damning for Hamza too. Get back into his full back position and it's a much more difficult chance. -
These are both great value imo. I think it's going to be very close between the three sides.

Separately the relegation battle is looking very interesting now...Plymouth in 16th are only 2 points ahead of Stoke in 22nd.

We'll play the same formation, let's be fair. I don't really rate Iheanacho, but wouldn't mind him tried as an 8 with the injuries we have in that position. Mads Justin Coady Faes Doyle Winks Fatawu KDH Iheanacho Mavididi Vardy I do fancy a win for us here. They've on horrible form and one of the few teams who may be drifting towards the beach. -
I think the Boro and QPR games followed a pattern I expected to see more this season. We've generally been really effective against those teams, but that small drop lately is tipping the balance. Wouldn't be too critical of the tactics that got us into this position and had us look very good against Leeds last week, but with the injuries I do think a bit of flexibility from Enzo would help. He's said before after good results that we got them because the opposition played as we expected them to. Well we play as everyone expects us to too. They've got plans for it now. We need to be able to adapt and surprise teams.

Sunderland are in worse form that both.
-
We won't lose the next 3. We just won't. Possible yes, probable no.
-
I get the loss of faith. We were poor. There just no way we lose 6 in a row. No way.

There's no way we lose the next 3 FFS 😂

9 off relegation, 8 off play offs, in awful form. On paper this should be a great opportunity to get back to winning ways. Performance irrelevant. -
I don't think we can include Southampton in that list. 3 defeats in their last 5. Squad is definitely imbalanced. Can't wait for Wilf to be back.
-
Can only really echo other comments. Didn't create anything really and had no answers to the QPR defence. Thought the couple of losses prior were unfortunate, but not this one. Was deserved. A real shame given Leeds dropped points before us too. A chance to be sitting much more comfortably. I think we will likely finish the FA cup weekend off the top of the table, and it's then about how we respond.

Sounded class. Well done to all who went!

Certainly feels like that has lifted the fug of recent defeats. Great performance, should be a big confidence boost. -
That's fair. I'm not claiming it's an outstanding bench by any means, but it's certainly good enough for what we're aiming to achieve and what it's supporting. Will definitely be aided once Ndidi is back. I think our squad is a bit imbalanced. Easy to say in hindsight, and I thought it was a good signing at the time, but the Coady money/wages should have been spent elsewhere.
-
This will be happening for all clubs. Everyone has injuries, everyone has weaker areas of their squads. We're still better equipped than at least 20 teams in the division. I think the other factor in us not having a bench of like for like quality is that the first 11 quality is so high too.
-
Well we lost 1 loan player and didn't replace. Could have looked to get 1 in and leave us in roughly the same position financially.
-
But it would look very silly for Enzo to complain in this context because a league 1 squad is doing alright.
-
Yeh wingers are the weird one. So important in our system and a significant drop in quality once Mavididi or Fatawu is out.
-
I'm a little surprised we didn't utilise the loan market more. We must have good connections there. Just think it would look ridiculous to complain about signings when it's one of the strongest squads to ever play at this level.
-
I think he's probably been the best alongside KDH in Ndidi's absence. Which is a shame because he's also so good in the inverted full back role. Brilliant player.
-
It's probably more stacked in defence than attack, but Enzo also only utilises one striker in a system when we have a good number of options there. I like the system and the way we play, but I'd question his inflexibility if he complained about lack of options. Would be the world's smallest violin. Against Leeds and Southampton sure, they can compete with us on squad strength. Nobody else can.
